In the coming days, we will provide evals on each player as they were grouped by their team. Since there were so many teams, I was only able to see every player once. To get things started, here is a look at Team No. 1.
Malcolm Davis Malcolm Davis 6'1" | SG Helias | 2022 State MO 6’0 Helias: The 2022 guard put on a show in the opening game of the showcase with 28 points and several 3-pointers, including the game winner in overtime. He scored at three levels and fed open teammates with his passing.
Tyler Schwebach 6’3 Stanberry: The 2022 Class 1 standout had one of the most athletic plays of the weekend when he blocked a dunk attempt at the rim. He has a solid skill set to go along with his athleticism, including good handles and a 3-point shot.
Noah Holland Noah Holland 6'2" | SG Hillsboro | 2023 State MO 6’2 Hillsboro: The smooth 2023 guard displayed his bucket-getting ability. He’s got a nice mid range jumper where he can get to his spot and elevate. He also knocked down a the Corner 3 off the catch.
Josh Reeves Josh Reeves 6'1" | SG Golden City | 2023 State MO 6’1 Golden City: The 2023 Class 1 standout was able to display his perimeter shooting prowess. He picked his spots to be assertive but he moved well without the ball into the open spots.
Ethan Meeks 6’7 College Heights Christian: The 2022 forward has a solid inside game and a nice shooting touch from 15 feet. He has an effective turn and face game with excellent passing skills.
TyQuan Linwood 5’8: A 2024 point guard who has good speed and quickness. His tempo was good as he looked to push the ball as much as possible.
Nacho Guerrero 6’0 Bucklin: A high energy 2022 guard who was in constant motion at both ends. He was able to get buckets off of his good cutting away from the ball.
