These talented basketball players were putting their skills on display every game during the “Live Period” in the month of July. Here at Prep Hoops Pennsylvania, we take an in-depth look at the shining stars of the summer tournaments.

Tyler Houser Tyler Houser 6'9" | PF Cedar Cliff | 2022 State PA / Rising Senior / 6’9 power forward / Cedar Cliff High School / Central PA Elite AAU Team
This strong, talented big man has a few division 1 offers and with his performance on the circuit has garnered the attention of many other division 1 and 2 schools. He is working on developing a mid-range game, while still being a dominant post player. Tyler works extremely hard and is motivated to continue the rise up the prep ladder to a D1 scholarship.

Caleb Bryant / Rising Junior / 6’8 small forward-power forward / LaSalle College High School / Team Final AAU Team
An unselfish team player is the best description for this young man. On the court, he will do whatever it takes to help his team be successful. While he is not looking to be the leading scorer, he is definitely a “leader.” Caleb has continued to work on his craft and his arsenal includes a solid mid-range shot mixed with athletic finishes at the rim.

Sam Brown Sam Brown 6'3" | CG Lower Merion | 2023 State PA / Rising Junior / 6’2 shooting guard / Lower Marion High School / Philly Pride Gold AAU Team
The improvement and development of his game have been extremely exciting to watch this summer. Known as a knock-down shooter from long distance, he has worked hard in the gym at becoming a complete offensive basketball player. Sam is a “hot name” on the market right now for division 1 and 2 institutions.

Allen Cieslak Allen Cieslak 6'1" | PG Devon Prep | 2022 State PA / Rising Senior / 6’1 shooting guard / Devon Prep High School / East Coast Power AAU Team
He is a productive hooper for both his high school and AAU teams. This young man has a high motor and with his quick hands plays well on the defensive end of the floor. Offensively the quick release on his jumper makes it difficult to defend coming off screens and moving without the ball. Allen plays the game the right way.

Chris Williams / Rising Senior / 6’2 point guard / LaSalle College High School / Philly Revolution AAU Team
With his improving ball-handling skills and excellent court vision, this prep player can take over a contest in the half-court set or in transition. He is an all-around talent who fills up the stat sheet in many columns with his high-level skill set. Chris is extremely quick on the defensive end of the floor and that leads to fast breaks for his team.

Malcolm Muhammad / Rising Junior / 6’2 combo guard / Imhotep Charter High School / BW Elite AAU Team
The extreme quickness and athleticism of this guard have proven to be a difference-maker throughout the summer months on the AAU circuit. Also, his deadly three-point shot can open up the game for his team on the offensive end of the floor. Malcolm has strong leadership skills and resembles a coach on the court.

Luke Boyd Luke Boyd CG Archbishop Ryan | 2022 State PA / Rising Senior / 6’1 combo guard / Archbishop Ryan High School / Team Final Black
He can “light it up” from a variety of spots on the court. His ability to penetrate the lane with floaters, knock down mid-range jumpers, and step out beyond the arc with consistency make him a nightmare to guard for opponents. Luke is a clutch performer and likes the ball in his hands when the game is on the line.
