Lamar Washington Lamar Washington 6'4" | CG AZ Compass Prep | 2022 State #128 Nation AZ , Dream Vision 17U (2022 Compass Prep)
We were excited to hear that we would get a chance to see Washington when we found out that Dream Vision was in the field as it would give us a chance to see him in a setting outside of Jefferson HS the past three years. Dream Vision is stacked with talent so we knew not to expect Washington to score 30 points but he still put up some good offensive numbers. With his new squad, he mans the point and did a great job attacking the hoop and finishing with either hand. In his second game, he got hot from three-point range and nailed three from downtown.
Ariya Briscoe, Oregon Prospects 17U Select (2022 Golden State Prep)
Briscoe, a 2021 graduate of Vancouver (WA) Union, has been a big force for this Prospects team with his ability to use his strength and quickness to get to the hoop and finish. But the lefty brought something new out of his bag of tricks in the team’s second game as he spotted up and knocked down two open threes. He’s headed to Golden State Prep in 2021-22 for a post-grad year.
Caden Harris Caden Harris 6'4" | SG Summit | 2022 State OR , Players Play 17U (2022 Summit)
We have been hearing a lot about Harris, not just from social media and highlight reels but from college coaches so we were looking forward to seeing him in action live for the first time in over a year. In the team’s second game of the evening, Harris got hot from the outside hitting four threes, but he also converted a couple of tough drives to the hoop. The 6-foot-5 wing played with a solid motor on both ends and didn’t take any plays off.
Drew Fielder, Oregon Prospects 17U (2023 Rocky Mountain)
A native of Idaho, Fielder has certainly drawn plenty of attention with the Prospects as he is long at 6-foot-10 and possesses great perimeter skills. He hit open threes, created off the dribble, and used his length to finish inside and fight on the boards. The truth of the matter is he was fouled a ton but never got the calls down low, but continued to battle without getting totally frustrated. He’s likely a Pac-12 prospect when it’s all said and done.
Kahlil Singleton, Oregon Prospects 2022 (2023 Loomis Chaffee)
It was another good day offensively for Singleton who is likely one of the top scorers of the tournament. While his first game was relatively calm – for him anyway – with only 15 points, he later tallied 26 points in front of the head coaches of Idaho and Montana. Singleton is the type of scorer who can get hot in a hurry and put numbers up on the scoreboard in bunches. He also is quick to “next play” when something doesn’t quite go his way.
