The Grassroots season in Vegas is in full swing, with several events taking over the city. Getting an early start on the weekend’s tournaments was The Las Vegas Big Time. Hosted by recruiting legend Gary Charles. The event ran from Thursday, July 21st, and concluded on Sunday, July 25th. Several players came from out of nowhere to make a name for themselves. In this article, we take a look at the top Sleepers from the event. 

  1. Jaxon Heiden Jaxon Heiden 6'8" | PF Alta | 2022 State UT 6’9 PF Salt Lake Rebels 2022 - Skilled 4 that blocks shots and moves well.
  2. Angel Johnson 6’0 PG Scholar Athletes 2022 - Solid two-way PG with enough quickness to get by and enough shooting to score from behind the arc.  
  3. Kjellan Oduor 6’9 C Dallas SeaWolves 2021 - High energy, high motor physical specimen. 
  4. Colten Berry 6’7 PF Arkansas Hawks 2022 - High motor big, that rebounds, protects the rim, and finishes in transition. 
  5. Bowen Davies Bowen Davies 6'9" | PF Murray | 2022 State UT 6’8 PF Salt Lake Rebels 2022 (featured image) - Leading shot-blocker in Utah is a rim-protecting savant. 
  6. Jalen Cunningham Jalen Cunningham 6'3" | SG Coronado | 2021 State NV 6’3 SG Simply Fundamental 2021 - Knockdown shooter, with one of the prettiest strokes at the event.
