Hosted by recruiting legend Gary Charles. The event ran from Thursday, July 21st, and concluded on Sunday, July 25th. Several players used energy and effort to make contributions to their teams. In this article, we take a look at the top high motor players from the event.
Kyron Henderson Kyron Henderson 6'6" | PF Dallas Kimball | 2022 State TX 6’8 PF Team Swish 2022 (featured image) – As high as high motor gets. The two-sport athlete is one of the fastest bigs in the nation. Henderson sprints the floor on every possession and must be defeated in order for opponents to get rebounds. He had some monster chase-down blocks and competed hard on the backboards.
Mario Sanders 5’9 PG NLP 2022 – It’s rare for a PG to make my high motor team, however, Sanders’s effort on both ends of the floor jumped out at me. He played with a good burst when driving to the bucket, and competed when playing on ball. He’s also a high IQ guy, knowing the right time to get teammates a shot.
Kobe Davis 6’0 PG AJ Bouye Elite 2022 – Lefty PG that plays hard. Davis is a downhill driver, that showed a good first step and the ability to get paint touches. He used his quickness, and hard-nosed style to get deflections and steals when playing the passing lanes.
Christian Ubochi 6’9 C Cal Select 2021 – I loved the motor Ubochi played with. the long forward was active around the rim, grabbing offensive rebounds and protecting. He had a big time 1 on 1 monster block in a matchup against a 7 footer from the Lakeshow.
Fred Robinson IV 6’3 PG Team RWA 2022 – I saw Robinson in a good matchup against Angel Johnson from Scholar-Athletes. The oversized PG backs down from no one. He played tough on-ball defense and showed a knack for finishing through contact.
