The name of the game is putting the ball in the basket. Some guys do it better than others.

Here’s a look at a few of the top returning shooters from the Kansas City area (in alphabetical order):

Christian Bowen-Webb Christian Bowen-Webb 6'2" | CG Bishop Miege | 2022 State KS , 6-foot-2 guard, 2022, Miege (pictured):

What can’t he do, really? He’s so athletic, he can get just about anything he wants, off the dribble or on the move. He isn’t bothered by a hand in the face and can elevate over defenders. As a junior, Bowen-Webb hit 50 3’s and shot a nifty 42% behind the arc. He’s really good in the midrange too with a quick pullup.

Corbin Dozier Corbin Dozier 6'4" | PF Olathe South | 2022 State KS , 6-foot-5 forward, 2022, Olathe South:

A big man who can shoot it. Dozier is long and lean, and has no trouble getting shots off over a defense. He gets shots off in a variety of fashions. Last year he canned 43 long balls while also doing a lot of damage inside the arc.

Dillon Mong Dillon Mong 6'6" | SF Shawnee Mission East | 2023 KS , 6-foot-6 forward, 2023, Shawnee Mission East:

A player who merits more attention, Mong earned the Sunflower League Sophomore of the Year last year. Among other things, he canned 37%
