Logan Blake Logan Blake 6'7" | PF Delaware Valley Regional | 2023 NJ , 6’6 PF Delaware Valley 2022
Blake had a strong showing on day 1 for the NJ Panthers as he was able to contribute in multiple ways. The 6’6 forward plays with good footwork down low and has a nice touch around the basket. Blake was unafraid of drawing contact close to the rim and has a nice release on his free throws. He attacks rebounds on both ends of the floor and made several good passes in the post. Blake’s versatility is something that will help his game as his career unfolds.
Jayden Holmes-Cotter Jayden Holmes-Cotter 6'6" | PF Freehold Township | 2023 State NJ , 6’6 PF Freehold Township 2023
Holmes-Cotter had a good showing on day 1 as he helped the Jersey Force 16U team pull out a win. The 6’6 forward has a strong frame which he used to get position down low and draw contact. Holmes-Cotter has a nice touch around the basket and can knock down jumpers in the mid-range. He fought for rebounds on both ends of the floor and did a good job defending the post. Holmes-Cotter is a rugged forward prospect who works hard on every possession.
Javon Adams Javon Adams 6'9" | PF Olympus Prep | 2022 State NJ , 6’9 SF/PF Olympus Prep 2022
Adams returned to Team Final Red for this weekend and he did not disappoint. The 6’9 forward ran the floor hard, which resulted in him throwing down a massive dunk in transition. Adams has a nice handle, which he used to get by his defender off the bounce. He used his length to make an impact on the defensive end and rarely turned the ball over in the half court. Adams is a talented forward prospect who will continue to make plays over the course of the weekend.
Geancarlo Pegura, 6’5 SF Gill St. Bernard’s 2023
Pegura had a strong showing for SHA Elite Blue as he was able to make an impact on both ends of the floor. The 6’5 wing pushed the ball in transition whenever he had the opportunity and was looking to score every time. Pegura was able to finish through contact around the basket and showed off a nice touch on his free throws. He skied for rebounds on both ends of the floor and used his athleticism to make an impact on the defensive end. Pegura is an athletic wing prospect who should continue to get better over the course of the weekend.
Alpha Bangura, 6’8 SF/PF Westtown 2022
Bangura made plays all over the floor for Team STAT on day 1 as he helped them to a win. The 6’8 forward was a menace on the glass as opponents struggled keeping him from grabbing rebounds. Bangura moved his feet well on the defensive end and swatted numerous shots around the basket. He has an underrated handle and does not mind drawing contact on his way to the basket. Bangura’s ability to make an impact on both ends of the floor is something that will help his stock over the weekend and in the long run.
