2022 Class
Colin Comer Colin Comer 6'4" | SG Greensburg | 2022 State IN (Greensburg)
Comer, a senior guard from Greensburg, is now the star of this Pirates ball club, and he rose to the challenge at Charlie Hughes. He can get to the rim and hit a nice mid-range, and these skills translated to his first collegiate offer with one from IU-East. Comer is going to need to be big for Greensburg this season, so he will be a player to watch for Division 3 schools.
Tayshawn Comer Tayshawn Comer 6'0" | PG Cathedral | 2022 State #226 Nation IN (Cathedral)
Comer has looked good for three weekends in a row now, and he capitalized on this with another Division 1 offer. Eastern Kentucky became the latest school to hop on board with Comer, and this brings his total up to 10. He’s going to continue to have so many eyes on him over the course of the next several months, so I would expect this number to continue to grow.
Ryan Conwell Ryan Conwell 6'2" | SG Pike | 2022 State #155 Nation IN (Pike)
Conwell is another player who picked up a couple of offers last week and added to it again this week. Evansville, Eastern Illinois, and Miami (OH) all jumped on after a solid performance at Charlie Hughes. Conwell is a very good player who will be playing at the mid-major level in the future.
Jaxon Edwards Jaxon Edwards 6'6" | SF Cathedral | 2022 State IN (Cathedral)
After a big week last week, Edwards added to his offers by picking up two more offers from Eastern Michigan and Evansville. He now holds 8 mid-major offers, and he is going to continue to improve in the coming months going into his senior season. Edwards is easily one of the best stock-risers in the state right now.
Connor Essegian Connor Essegian 6'4" | SG Central Noble | 2022 State #170 Nation IN (Central Noble)
Essegian continues to rack up the mid-major offers with additional ones from Murray State, Loyola (IL), and Eastern Illinois this week. This brings Essegian’s total up to 15 Division 1 offers. He played well again this weekend, and his stock just continues to rise. One of the best true scorers in the 2022 class.
Britain Harris Britain Harris 6'3" | SG Bosco Institute | 2022 State IN (Don Bosco Institute)
Harris added his second Division 1 offer in as many weeks with one from Cleveland State. Britt adds to his offer from St. Francis (PA) that he got last week. Harris transferred to Don Bosco, and he has been making a lot of noise since that point in time.
Jalen Jackson Jalen Jackson 6'2" | PG Fort Wayne Northrop | 2022 State IN (Fort Wayne Northrop)
Jackson is a good scorer who has continued to improve every time out. This shows as he was able to pick up his third Division 1 offer from Bellarmine this week. This offer joins IUPUI and PFW.
Armon Jarrard Armon Jarrard 6'2" | PG Mt. Vernon-Fortville | 2022 State IN (Mt. Vernon-Fortville)
Jarrard picked up his second Division 1 offer with one from IUPUI, joining his brother Amhad. Armon also holds one from Southeast Missouri State. Armon has played well over the last couple of weeks, so he has a lot of room to grow and impress some coaches. Should be low to mid-major player.
Hunter Johnson Hunter Johnson 6'2" | SG South Decatur | 2022 State IN (South Decatur)
Johnson has played very well for South Decatur over the last couple of years, but he hasn’t quite generated the attention from college coaches. Johnson did pick up his first offer from Calumet College, and I think any school that offers this guy would be getting an absolute steal.
Andrew Leeper Andrew Leeper 6'6" | PF Homestead | 2022 State IN (Homestead)
Leeper has a chance to be a leader on this impressive Homestead ball club this season, and he was able to impress enough coaches over the past couple of weekends to pick up a Division 2 offer from Saginaw Valley State in Michigan. Leeper is a big presence in the paint and should play a major role for this Homestead squad.
Will Lovings-Watts Will Lovings-Watts 6'5" | SF Jeffersonville | 2022 State IN (Jeffersonville)
Lovings-Watts picks up another mid-major offer this week from Murray State to add to those from Bradley, Drake, and Wichita State. He is a guard with a ton of length, and his outside shot has been about the only question mark in his game. Lovings-Watts may pick up a couple of more offers, but I’d say the MVC and OVC is about the perfect level for Will.
Jaiden Malichi Jaiden Malichi 6'8" | C Cathedral | 2022 State IN (Cathedral)
Malichi picked up his first offer from Wabash College. Wabash was among the numerous schools watching Cathedral at the Charlie Hughes Shootout, and Malichi caught their attention. He should see a couple more Division 3 offers along the way.
Billy Smith Billy Smith 6'7" | SF Brebeuf Jesuit | 2022 State IN (Brebeuf Jesuit)
Smith picked up a couple of offers last week, and he added three more to it this week. Fordham, IUPUI, and Eastern Illinois all offered the big forward from Brebeuf Jesuit. He is solidly a mid-major talent, and he continues to roll in those offers.
Jordan Turner Jordan Turner 6'3" | PG Cardinal Ritter | 2022 State IN (Cardinal Ritter)
Turner joined the group of people picking up their first offers with one from Manchester. Turner should see more come his way as he leads this Cardinal Ritter team during his senior season.
Cayden Vasko Cayden Vasko 6'5" | PG Bosco Institute | 2022 State IN (Don Bosco Institute)
Vasko transferred to Don Bosco for his senior season, and with a couple of good performances for his new team, he was able to pick up his first Division 1 offer from UMKC last week.
Charlie Williams Charlie Williams 6'10" | PF Carmel | 2022 State #220 Nation IN (Carmel)
Williams has improved so much during the AAU season and during the month of June with Carmel. He’s improved his game in every area and caught the eye of several college coaches. He now holds 11 mid-major offers, and he will have several more as he continues to play well. Definitely, a player to watch in the coming months.
2023 Class
Xavier Booker Xavier Booker 6'11" | PF Cathedral | 2023 State #4 Nation IN (Cathedral)
Xavier became the latest school to offer Booker over the last week. He has a ton of high-major offers already, and this number should continue to grow. He’s an outstanding talent who should be very heavily recruited.
Jalen Hooks Jalen Hooks 6'6" | SF Warren Central | 2023 State #282 Nation IN (Crispus Attucks)
While on a visit to Pittsburgh, the Panthers became the 10th school to offer Hooks. He has continued to excel in all areas and is really rounding himself out as a player. He will be one of the top 2 players in the state with the next rankings update, and he should see a ton of Division 1 interest.
JaQualon Roberts JaQualon Roberts 6'8" | PF Bloomington North | 2023 State IN (Bloomington North)
Roberts is another high-level talent in the 2023 class, and he added several new offers this past week. Akron, Indiana State, and Miami (OH) became the latest schools to hop on board for Roberts. This brings his total up to 5 offers, but if he is going to make the jump from mid-major offers to high-major offers, he is going to have become much more consistent with his jump shot. This is no doubt the next step to his game.
2024 Class
Micah Davis (Franklin Community)
Davis lept onto our radar with his first offer from IUPUI earlier this week. The guard from Franklin became just the second 2024 prospect to earn an offer. I have yet to see Davis play, but eyes will be on him now that he has bagged his first basketball offer.
