Commitments
Myles Colvin Myles Colvin 6'5" | SG Heritage Christian | 2023 State #51 Nation IN – Purdue
Matt Painter continued his in-state recruiting success, getting the first Indiana 2023 to commit to Purdue. Colvin is a big guard who had offers from a majority of the in-state programs including Butler, IUPUI, Indiana, and Purdue as well as others from Tulane and Miami (OH). Colvin is going to be one of the top players in the state in the coming two years, and Purdue is going to be getting a good one.
Jalen Washington Jalen Washington 6'10" | PF Gary Westside | 2022 State #32 Nation IN – North Carolina
Washington is the no doubt number one player in the 2022 class in Indiana, and he announced that he would be attending North Carolina in the coming fall. Many thought that Washington would stay in the area with Indiana, Purdue, and Michigan State being involved early and often, but when North Carolina offered back at the beginning of May, Washington couldn’t turn down that opportunity. Washington has played very well for Meanstreets EYBL all summer, and he should be in line for a great senior season with Gary West.
2022 Class
Grant Brown Grant Brown 6'4" | SF Snider | 2022 State IN – Manchester
Brown picked up his first collegiate offer this week. While on a visit to Manchester, he picked up an offer from the in-state Division 3 program. The Fort Wayne Snider wing is one of the hardest workers on the floor in every single game that he plays, and he can really shoot it from the outside. Look for Brown to play a big part in the Snider success as their third scorer behind Jenkins and Lambert. I would expect Brown to see several HCAC offers throughout his senior season.
[player_tooltip player_id=”870226″ first=”Ryan” last=”Conwell”] – Appalachian State, Ball State, Northern Kentucky
Conwell had probably the biggest week in terms of offers as he got three new offers from Appalachian State, Ball State, and Northern Kentucky. He now holds 8 mid-major offers and should get some more. He has been one of the biggest stock risers on the Prep Hoops Circuit, and it has shown in the offers that he has received.
Connor Essegian Connor Essegian 6'4" | SG Central Noble | 2022 State #170 Nation IN – Wofford
Essegian has an unreal number of offers right now, and he picked up another one from Wofford last week. He is now up to 16 mid-major offers and is easily the most heavily recruited player in the state. It will be interesting to see if Essegian can break into the high-major category, but he will be playing college basketball at a high level in the future.
Amhad Jarrard Amhad Jarrard 6'4" | SG Mt. Vernon-Fortville | 2022 State IN – Miami (OH)
Jarrard picked up his fifth offer with one from Miami (OH) this past week. He has had a great summer with George Hill All Indy, and he is looking to have a great senior season. Jarrard is an insane athlete, and he will be a fun player to watch in the future.
Andrew Leeper Andrew Leeper 6'6" | PF Homestead | 2022 State IN – Cedarville, Wittenberg
Leeper is probably one of the best players in the state that has not broken into the Division one level yet in terms of offers. He picked up two more offers, one Division 2 and one Division 3, from Cedarville and Wittenberg. He is going to be big on the inside for Homestead this year, and he may have a chance to impress some more coaches for the rest of the summer and during his senior season.
2023 Class
Cooper Farrall Cooper Farrall 6'5" | SF Culver Academy | 2023 State IN – Saginaw Valley State
Farrall was able to pick up his first collegiate offer this week with one from Saginaw Valley State. Farrall was highly talked about during his freshman season, but he struggled with injuries during his sophomore campaign. Now that he is back, he should be in line to make some noise for Culver Academy during his junior year.
JaQualon Roberts JaQualon Roberts 6'8" | PF Bloomington North | 2023 State IN – Stetson
Roberts adds to his already extensive list of offers with his sixth mid-major offer from Stetson. Roberts is a big wing for Bloomington North who has had a ton of eyes on him throughout the summer. He should continue to be heavily recruited, and he may see some high-major offers come his way if he can continue to work on his game.
