Manton— In its first year the Trevor Huffman Elite Camp attempted to get the top 40 players in Northern Michigan together for three days to compete and push each other to get better. 

After the first day I would say that mission was more than accomplished. Here are five players that stood out on day one. I’ll be providing coverage all week. 

Evan Solomon Evan Solomon 6'3" | PG Charlevoix | 2022 State MI 6-3 2022 Charlevoix Just as he did at the Lake Superior St Elite camp. Solomon continued to show his elite perimeter footwork. This allows him to both get to his shot off and get to his spots easily without elite athleticism. In the the five on five portion of the camp he showed to other aspect of his game that makes him an appealing prospect. Has more than enough ball handling and passing ability to toggle between the 1 and 2 positions. Already holding some small college offers his recruitment could pick up this summer as he continues to play with the Grand Rapids Storm.
