Ian Abrass (2024) Mid Ohio Pumas -Sliemers 6-1 SG
Crafty guard. Very unselfish and smart player. Makes the right plays at the right time. Not as athletic as some of the other guards I watched but makes up for it with his focus on the fundamentals. Has a spin move one would see on 2k. One of the better 15U players I saw during the event.
Dariyonne Bryant (2022) Mid Ohio Pumas -Harrington 6-3 SG
New name for me as he excelled with the Pumas in their Ohio matchup against SMAC Real Deal. Tremendous athlete. Great leaping and dunking capabilities. Dangerous in the fast break if he gets in front of defenders. Unselfish in half court sets.
Dante Collier Dante Collier 6'4" | SF Licking Heights | 2022 State OH (2022) Nova Village-Simmons 6-4 SG
Lefty with a great shooting stroke. Intriguing with his size on the perimeter. Great in catch-and-shoot situations. Good shooting mechanics and confident once he gets hot from beyond the arc. Will need to work on his quickness but definitely a player worth watching.
Evan Park (2022) Mid Ohio Pumas -Benson 6-6 PF
Park was the low post option for his team. I was instantly intrigued by his length when watching him against Mercury Elite. Works the blocks and had great seal offs. Found himself defending the perimeter a few times and showed some struggle keeping up with some quicker players. Can handle the ball well when needed. Shooting mechanics are solid. D3 schools should have him on their radars.
Jaylen Simmons (2022) Nova Village-Simmons 6-0 PG
Persistent guard. Nice shooting stroke from the perimeter. Impressed with his ability to put the ball on the floor and get by defenders from 1Vision. Really battled on the glass and fought for boards. Struggles to go left when he is attacking the rim. Definitely a scholarship athlete.
Adrian Stone (2022) Mid Ohio Pumas -Benson 6-0 PG
Nice shooting option for his Pumas team. Midrange shot selection is impressive and he showed he could hit the shots with some consistency. Physicality is an area for improvement but the shooting touch makes him intriguing for colleges looking for a sharp shooting PG.
