Ethan Simmon Ethan Simmon 6'4" | SG St. Joe's Metuchen | 2022 State NJ , 6’4 SG St. Joe’s Metuchen 2022
Simmon had a huge weekend as he helped lead the NJ Panthers to the 17U HGSL title at Spooky Nook. The 6’4 wing has a good release on his jumper and is capable of knocking down triples in bunches. Simmon does more than just shoot as he can also put the ball on the floor and attack the basket. He is an underrated rebounder and uses his length to be disruptive on the defensive end. Fairfield offered Simmon after his performance on the weekend, solidifying his strong weekend.
Cornelius Robinson Cornelius Robinson 6'6" | SF Camden | 2023 State #253 Nation NJ , 6’5 SF Camden 2023
Robinson has been a key part for the NJ Scholars 16U at Peach Jam with his relentless motor and energy. The 6’5 forward attacks the glass with reckless abandon on both sides of the floor and has the ability to defend multiple positions. Robinson has a nice touch around the basket and does not mind drawing contact. He can also put the ball on the floor and knock down open jumpers from the perimeter. Albany offered Robinson for his play over the weekend and should receive more if he continues to play like he did.
Drew Greene Drew Greene 5'10" | PG Cherry Hill East | 2022 State NJ , 5’10 PG Cherry Hill East 2022
Greene had a big weekend for Team Final Black as he was able to display his ability to be the focal point of the offense. The 5’10 guard has a good handle which he uses to get into the lane and finish around the basket. Greene is more than just a driver as he has a smooth shooting stroke and does not need a lot of space to get his shot off. He always plays with his head up and is looking for his teammates in the halfcourt. Greene’s pass-first approach is something that will only help his game as he progresses through the rest of July.
Andrew Ball Andrew Ball 6'8" | SF Shawnee | 2022 State NJ , 6’8 SF Shawnee 2022
Ball had a good weekend for Philly Pride as he was able to showcase his sweet shooting stroke. The 6’8 wing wastes little motion in his shot and uses his size to shoot over smaller defenders. Ball moves very well off the ball, freeing himself up for open jumpers and layups. He has an underrated handle and can score in the mid-range. Ball recently picked up an offer from Quinnipiac and could receive more if he continues to shoot the way he has been recently.
Isaac Hester Isaac Hester 6'0" | PG Ranney School | 2023 State NJ , 6’0 PG Ranney School 2023
Hester has been solid for Team Rio University during the UAA and that did not change over the weekend. The 6’0 guard plays with composure on the ball and is not fazed by on-ball pressure. Hester has a good handle which he uses to get into the lane and make plays. He is more than just a driver as he has a nice shooting form and sets his feet before he shoots. Hester is a poised point guard prospect who should continue to make plays for Team Rio University in the Finals in Indianapolis.
