Some prospects have already put together strong performances and are looking to carry it over into the rest of the weekend. Here are the top forward prospects who have started the weekend off hot.
Joe Carroll Joe Carroll 6'7" | SF Blair Academy | 2022 State NJ , 6’7 SF/PF Blair Academy 2022
Carroll started the weekend off on a high note as he dropped 25 points in a game on Thursday in Atlantic City. The 6’7 forward is comfortable playing on the perimeter as he drilled five triples in the game. Carroll has a nice release on his jumper and sets his feet before he shoots. The ball does not stick in his hands and he does not turn the ball over much. Carroll’s floor stretching ability is a big part of his game and it should help him this weekend.
Sean Logan Sean Logan 6'10" | PF Westfield | 2022 State NJ , 6’10 PF Westfield 2022
Logan made an impact for Team Rio University in the UAA circuit already and should continue to do so this weekend. The lanky 6’10 forward runs the floor hard and knows how to finish in transition. Logan has an underrated handle and is capable of knocking down jumpers from behind the arc. He moves his feet well on the defensive end and is one of the top shot-blockers in the 2022 class. Logan’s shot-blocking combined with his ability to play on the perimeter gives him the opportunity to have a huge weekend.
Andrew Ball Andrew Ball 6'8" | SF Shawnee | 2022 State NJ , 6’8 SF Shawnee 2022
Ball has had a strong couple of days in Atlantic City for Philly Pride and should continue to play well this weekend. The 6’8 forward has a clean shooting stroke and uses his size to shoot over smaller defenders. Ball can score in the mid-range and has an underrated handle. He has the length to defend multiple positions and moves well off the ball. Ball is a knockdown shooter from distance which should contribute to him having a big weekend.
Rasheer Fleming Rasheer Fleming 6'7" | PF Camden | 2022 State NJ , 6’8 SF/PF Camden 2022
Fleming has been playing at a high level for NJ Scholars all spring and should continue to do so this weekend. The 6’8 forward has a nice touch around the basket and finishes above the rim strongly. Fleming can also play on the perimeter as he can put the ball on the floor and knock down jumpers from distance. He has the athleticism to defend multiple positions and skies for rebounds at both ends of the floor. Fleming is a talented combo forward who has the opportunity to turn heads during the weekend.
Noah Pit, 6’7 SF Mendham 2022
Pit started off the weekend strong for SHA Elite Blue in Atlantic City and will have the opportunity to have more moments like that during the weekend. The 6’7 forward attacks the basket hard and does not mind drawing contact. Pit is more than just a driver as he has a good release on his jumper and his range extends past the three-point line. He is a strong rebounder and an underrated passer. Pit’s ability to affect the game offensively in different ways will help him throughout the weekend for SHA Elite Blue.
