Austin finished with just six points in Houston Hoop’s win over ASAK but his ability to facilitate and play tough defense was evident. He gave ball handlers no space and he has the ability to force turnovers. He also showed off his floater and used his quickness to blow by defenders.
Cameron Corhen Cameron Corhen 6'9" | C Sunrise Christian | 2022 #106 Nation KS – Houston Hoops – F
Corhen finished with eight points in Houston Hoop’s win and he showed that he is an elite big. He rebounded well, finished above the rim, and was an excellent defensive presence inside. His interior offensive game also was extremely smooth and he will make a high major school very happy one day.
Jordan Walsh Jordan Walsh 6'7" | SF Link Academy | 2022 #31 Nation MO – Drive Nation – F
Jordan Walsh Jordan Walsh 6'7" | SF Link Academy | 2022 #31 Nation MO had an amazing showing in Drive Nation’s win over Factory and he is as complete of a wing as they come. He opened the game with a dunk and he finished above the rim multiple times. He also had an eastbay dunk in transition and it looked effortless. He also rebounded well and blocked multiple shots. Nothing comes easy when Walsh is guarding you.
Vincent Iwuchukwu – Drive Nation – F
Iwuchukwu had the best performance of anyone that I saw on Saturday. He finished with 18 points and almost every one of his baskets was a dunk. He dominated anyone that tried to guard him in the post and he was an excellent low post presence on defense. No one wanted to finish at the rim when he was in the game which resulted in a good amount of missed floaters for Factory.
Blessing Nwotite – Factory – G
Blessing Nwotite was one of the bright spots for Factory in their game against Houston Hoops and his three-point shot looked smooth. He finished with 14 points and he converted a four-point play. He also has a nice in-between game and gets to his spots.
