Wings tend to be some of the more impressive players at showcases and Wednesday’s Cincinnati Elite Open Run hosted by Triple Double Prospects had many. Athleticism and toughness were on display and some seniors continued to add to their resumes with this event. This piece focuses on those players and their games.

Ben Menker Ben Menker 6'4" | SF Mason | 2024 State OH (2024) Mason (6-3)

Menker was the only 2024 playing and he showed he belonged with the upperclassmen competing as well. All around talent with a lot of upside already. Understands the right play and makes the correct passes. Moves without the ball and disciplined to give up a good shot for someone else to make a great shot. Good size already for a sophomore.

Nate Paarlberg Nate Paarlberg 6'6" | PF Franklin | 2022 State OH (2022) Franklin (6-6)

Paarlberg is listed as a Center in the Coaches Packet but I forsee him as a Wing or Stretch 4 collegiately. High motor lefty. Tough on the inside both offensively and defensively. Plays with some inside-out potential. Can body up opposing big or step out and hit perimeter shots. This combo makes him a tough guy to defend and is a big reason why Mount Vernon Nazarene recently offered him. High ceiling as he continues
