Triple Double Prospects’ Corey Albertson brought together some of Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky, and Dayton’s best prospects for the Cincinnati Elite Open Run. The event featured roughly 50 prospects playing in front of college coaches virtually. As part of our three part series, I will first focus on the top guards from the event, which includes some D1 and even D2 caliber prospects.

Evan Ipsaro Evan Ipsaro 5'11" | PG Covington Catholic | 2023 State KY  (2023) Covington Catholic (5-10)

Ipsaro does a lot of what you look for in a typical point guard. Proven leader with the ball in his hands. Elite passer that sets his guys up and always has his head on a swivel. Ball handling is like a blur with his quickness. Has some bounce and is close to being able to dunk. Great perimeter defender with good footwork and lateral movement.

Jacob Meyer Jacob Meyer 6'1" | CG Holy Cross | 2023 State KY (2023) Holy Cross (6-1)

This was my first chance to check out Meyer as he was one of a few Kentucky based players in the event. Boy did he impress. Very patient guard that has good pace and awareness on the floor. High basketball IQ and looks to make the additional pass. Tough to stay in front of and proved to
