Tuck is more than just a slasher as he has a nice release on his jumper and can hit jumpers from behind the arc. He is a strong rebounder and has the athleticism to defend multiple positions. Tuck’s ability to play at both ends of the floor is something that will help his stock as the month goes by.
Cameron Piggee Cameron Piggee 6'1" | PG Rutgers Prep | 2023 State NJ , 6’1 PG Rutgers Prep 2023
Piggee is a skilled lead guard that should have a big impact on Team Rio University this July. The 6’1 guard has a good handle, which he uses to beat his defender off the bounce and get to the rim. Piggee can finish in a variety of ways around the basket and does not mind contact. He makes good decisions with the ball in his hands and has a nice release on his jumper. Piggee’s decision-making and ability to run the offense effectively are two things to watch from him as July passes.
Alex Moore Alex Moore 5'10" | PG Olympus Prep | 2021 State NJ , 5’9 PG Montgomery 2024
Moore is one of the more underrated point guards in Central Jersey and has the opportunity to do so for the Jersey Force . The 5’9 guard knows how to get to the rim and is a good finisher around the basket. Moore has a nice handle and is not fazed by on-ball pressure. He works hard on the defensive end and is a good rebounder for a guard his size. Moore is a tough-minded point guard who should have a strong July.
DJ Thomson DJ Thomson 6'3" | PG Keyport | 2022 State NJ , 6’3 PG Keyport 2022
Thomson has had a strong spring season with the Jersey Shore Predators and has the opportunity to build on it this July. The 6’3 guard is a natural scorer as he puts up points in bunches and knows how to get to the free throw line. Thomson has a good mid-range game and can knock down open jumpers from the perimeter. He is an underrated passer and is a strong rebounder. If Thomson is able to defend at a high level this July, he should see a big boost in his stock.
