Big Shots Nationals brought out a ton of new talent to track in the state of North Carolina. Here's a look at Part III of the New Faces from Big Shots Nationals.


CJ Harrist | 5'11 Guard | Team Hope Harrist | 2022

Harrist is a combo guard in NC's 2022 class that's turning heads with Team Hope Harrist. He produced 10.3 ppg including 14 points in the 17U Championship Game. He showed off his ability to make plays for himself and others while knocking down shots and operating off the dribble. He's an emerging name to get to know at Metrolina Christian Academy.

Matt Kirby | 5'9 Guard | Team DBGH | 2023

Kirby was impressive all weekend long in the Team DBGH backcourt as their lead guard. He showed off his ability to defend with presence and be a fearless downhill threat while putting up 13.8 ppg on the weekend. He opened the event with 25 points againsy Greensboro Warriors Dorsey in tough first win and didn't look back as his squad went 2-2 at Big Shots Nationals. He's a tough, gritty guard to get to know in NC's 2023 class at Greenfield School.
