Robby Matos Robby Matos 5'9" | PG Blue Ridge | 2023 VA | 5’10 Guard | Team Marsh-Churchwell
Matos is a solid combo guard that can make plays and score the ball in a variety of ways. He produced 19.0 ppg in Session I and 13.0 ppg during Session II at Myrtle Beach Live while showing off his ability to play the point while maintaining his ability to score. He’s got nice strength he uses well to get up under opponents and play defense at a high level. Look for his name to grow in Virginia’s 2023 class.
Elijah Mitchell | 6’4 Wing/Forward | Big Shots Elite Virginia Nets
Mitchell is another prospect in the Big Shots Elite Virginia Nets rotation to keep an eye on on the wing. He’s got a nice shooting stroke to go along with his confidence shooting the ball on the perimeter. He’s even more of a threat off the bounce as a downhill threat where he can finish at the rim. He’s an underrated prospect to get eyes on.
Aiden Brantley Aiden Brantley 6'2" | SF Conway | 2023 State SC IV | 6’3 Forward/Wing | Ascend Ballers
Brantley is an emerging name to know in South Carolina’s 2023 class given his length and versatility. He’s a prospect that continues to show off his ability as a scorer, rebounder and all-around defender when he’s on the floor. As he improves on his ballhandling and decision-making, look for his name to grow in the state.
Ryan MacKinnon | 6’4 Shooting Guard | Durham Hurricanes
MacKinnon is a sharpshooter in North Carolina’s 2023 class to know. He showed off his range on the perimeter this past weekend while producing 11.0 ppg in Session I and 16.0 ppg in Session II, improving his poise on the perimeter as the event drew on. He’s got a strong confidence to go along with his ability to find openings for his shot. As he improves his strength and develops his all-around game, he’s a prospect to keep an eye on in North Carolina.
Carter Wesson | 6’4 Wing/Forward | VABA Bruins
Wesson is an emerging prospect to get to know out of Virginia with the VABA Bruins. He’s got nice length and mobility for his size at 6-foot-4 that he uses well to move without the ball and get open for shots. As he shows he can operate with the ball in his hands as a playmaker and make plays, look for his name to grow in the class.
