Adding some more muscle to his frame will come with more time but he was not afraid to mix it up inside with bigger opponents.
Brothers Basketball Trevor Butters: He couldn’t find his rhythm shooting the ball in the games we watched but he found other ways to impact the game which is something that you love to see. Rebounding the ball, playing intense defense and battling with a player much taller than he is were all things that we saw from him.
Adirondack Wild 2022 Forward Ayden Harrison: A player that you have to be really excited about due to his size, skillset and upside. He’s 6’9 with the ability to step out and shoot the deep ball but also has the tools to be a dominant shot blocker and rebounder. D1 programs will want to keep an eye on him over the next year as he continues to progress.
Team Unity 2022 Guard Destin Brey: Does a nice job of leading his team with his scoring and facilitating at a high level from start to finish. He’s a crafty Guard that knows how to break down defenders, scores over bigger defenders consistently and embraces contact without it disturbing his offense much.
VA Havoc 2022 Guard Dorian Davis: Found ways to score the ball at a very high level from multiple levels, using his size and strength to get where he wants. He’s big enough to play in the post on occasion, finishing around the basket but can also defend multiple positions when he’s locked in.
Team Synergy 2022 Guard Tyler Rice: Has a nice feel for the game, doesn’t allow himself to get sped up, which helps him to be able to keep his turnovers low. His shooting ability was impressive, he understands how to create space to get his shot off and was pretty efficient scoring the ball overall.
Bucks Travelers 2022 Guard Tyler Allen: He led his team to the Blue bracket championship and took home MVP honors in the championship game. His stats won’t necessity wow you but it doesn’t take much time of watching him before you can see that he is a player that understands the game and knows how to win.
VA Venom 2022 Guard Kameron Johnson: He was outstanding from start to finish, going for 38 Points in their final game and averaging a division high of just under 23 PPG. He stepped up just about whenever his team needed him to make a play but didn’t force plays and played within the flow of a team concept.
VA Venom 2023 Guard Chris Cyrus: Has good height for a Guard at about 6’3 with a long wingspan and was pretty impressive playing in a older age group. He looked to attack when the opportunity presented itself and didn’t settled for the outside shot too often.
