Team Pressure 910 2023 Guard Malachi Travis Malachi Travis 6'2" | CG New Life Christian | 2023 State NC : Took home the MVP honors scoring 15 points in the championship game. His perimeter shooting is what he’s known for but we also saw his ability to slash to the basket and finish inside.
Bigs Shots Elite McBride 2023 Guard Dylan McBride Dylan McBride 6'0" | PG West Carteret | 2023 State NC : He understands how to run a squad, and does a nice job of balancing his scoring with facilitating to teammates. His strength, skill and IQ for the game are all things that we noticed and college coaches should be keeping an eye on him throughout the remainder of the summer .
Big Shots Elite McBride 2023 Forward Cooper Marcum: Plays the game with a very high motor on both ends of the floor and plays bigger than his height suggest. He’s comfortable inside the post, rebounds at a nice level and does all the small things that can get overlooked at times.
Carolina Sonics 2023 Guard Preston Smith: Was outstanding for his team throughout the event, especially when it came to scoring the ball, averaging over 20 PPG. He was constantly on the attack offensively, seeking out opportunities to exploit gaps in the defense. His passing ability was also impressive, he constantly has his head up looking for open teammates, passing up good shots for great shots.
Carolina Sonics 2023 Forward Ryan Repik: A worker inside the paint, he made a nice impact on the game with his interior scoring and rebounding. He averaged over 18 PPG throughout the tournament as well as a high amount of rebounds, using his strength and understanding of positioning to make a nice impact on the boards.
Hill City Crash 2023 Guard Landon Etzel: Led the 16U Blue division in scoring, averaging 21 Points per game and leading his team to an overall record of 2-1 on the weekend. He has a nice overall feel for the game, understands when to attack the basket and when to shoot the outside shot. We appreciate the fact that although he can score it at nice level, he doesn’t look to take breaks on the defensive side of the ball.
Big Shots Elite Tricities Jamar Livingston: If you didn’t know already, this young man can flat out put the ball in the bucket! Averaging 26 PPG and scoring the ball with ease at multiple levels, he’s clearly one of those players that is a natural scorer and can fill it up in a heartbeat.
