Hunter Kline: 6’6″ Power Forward East Noble H.S. (Summit City Elite)- This skilled 4-man really played well over the course of the weekend. Kline has a strong frame with noticeable potential to continue to grow and get even stronger. He has very good footwork both in the post and away from the basket. Kline showcased the ability to drive it from the elbows, short corners, or the 15-foot area on the wings. Additionally, he has a nice mid-range jumper. Excellent offensive rebounder that finished his putbacks.
Brandon Trilli Brandon Trilli 6'5" | SF Munster | 2023 State IN : 6’4″ Small Forward Munster H.S. (Indiana Game Premier)- All-around good basketball player. Trilli showed off a solid shooting stroke out to 3-point range as well as his ability to drive it in a straight line against a closeout. He was good in the pick-and-pop and also scored it against the switch by rolling and playing with his back to the basket some. Trilli had tough finishes with both hands around the basket. Very skilled overall.
Nicholas Thompson: 6’1″ Point Guard Bishop Luers H.S. (Indy Heat Red)- Thompson is a really athletic driver with length. He is quick with the ball and really pushes it hard in transition when he has it. He is a very effective playmaker off of the dribble and routinely created separation by breaking his man down off of the dribble. Thompson showcased his finishing ability with both hands around the rim as well. One of the better all-around in-state 2023 prospects from the weekend in Louisville.
Myles Colvin Myles Colvin 6'5" | SG Heritage Christian | 2023 State #51 Nation IN : 6’5″ Wing Heritage Christian H.S. (INB Elite) Purdue– There is no denying the fact that Colvin was one of the best athletes in the gym this weekend. The recent Purdue commit shot it well against Summit City Elite in front of Boilermaker assistant coach Paul Lusk. Colvin has all of the physical tools in the world to go along with his nice shooting stroke. The defensive potential is through the roof as well. He will continue to develop and should be a nice addition in West Lafayette in the coming years.
Zane Doughty Zane Doughty 6'8" | C Ben Davis | 2023 State IN : 6’9″ Center Ben Davis H.S. (INB Elite)- Doughty is a truly impactful force on the defensive end of the floor with his ability to protect the rim not just via blocking shots, but also changing shots in the paint. He then has quick enough instincts to get into rebounding position once the shot does go up. Offensively, he is a throwback 5-man that posts up hard consistently looking for a deep post catch. As his frame fills out and he continues to develop his skill set, Doughty will become a dominant interior presence on both ends of the floor.
