Josh Furst Josh Furst 6'6" | C Blackhawk Christian | 2023 State IN : 6’6″ Power Forward Blackhawk Christian H.S. (Indy Heat Red)- The younger brother of Indiana Mr. Basketball Caleb Furst Caleb Furst 6'9" | PF Blackhawk Christian | 2021 State #34 Nation IN is quickly making a name for himself. A good player in his own right playing alongside his brother at Blackhawk the last two years, the younger Furst is bursting onto the scene with a strong summer for Indy Heat Red. He is an excellent finisher around the basket with both hands and rebounds at a high level. It won’t be long before we start to see some offers rolling his way.
Nolen Duncan: 6’3″ Shooting Guard Cathedral H.S. (INB Elite)- Cathedral is absolutely loaded with talent right now so it can be hard to breakthrough the logjam of Division I talent. Duncan made his case this weekend with some strong play for the Indy Nets. He is very athletic and long with a lot of talent in transition. Very impressive with his ability to attack closeouts and drive it in a straight line. He will be a name to keep an eye on for sure.
Tyler Horton Tyler Horton 6'7" | C Warren Central | 2023 State IN : 6’7″ Center Warren Central H.S. (INB Elite)- Horton was impressive with his size and defensive ability on the interior. He gets vertical around the rim and does a really good job of altering shots. He has a sturdy lower half as well which allows him to hold his ground defensively and make strong moves offensively. Horton stepped out and hit a corner three as well showcasing an ability to potentially stretch the floor. Definitely one to monitor for those needing an inside presence in 2023.
Nolan Cumberland: 6’3″ Shooting Guard Tippecanoe Valley H.S. (Summit City Elite)- Scorer, scorer, scorer. Poured in 24 points in one game over the weekend. Cumberland is a high percentage maker from beyond the arc and showed the ability to create off of the dribble as well. He has nice size on the wing too. One of the more all-around impressive 2023 guards from the Louisville based tournament.
Dalman Alexander: 6’5″ Small Forward Fort Wayne Northrop H.S. (Summit City Elite)- Alexander is a super gifted athlete that is as bouncy as anyone in the gym. He showed off a nice looking pull-up jumper on his drives to the basket. One of his greatest assets right now is his ability to offensive rebound with his length and athleticism. Alexander routinely would fly in from the perimeter to crash the offensive glass.
