The schools in Area 4 are Goshen, New Brockton, Opp and Pike County. The players listed below are some of the best 2022 prospects in the entire state of Alabama to watch this upcoming season.
Jayden Williams | 6-0 G | Goshen
Williams is a sensational, electrifyiing guard that can score at will. He possesses a high basketball IQ and can take over a game at any moment. The incoming senior has a solid jumpshot and can fly to the rim to soar past defenders for an easy bucket.
Michael Siniard | 6-3 PF | New Brockton
Siniard excels at setting screens and running the pick and roll to get into the paint and create a shot selection for his team. With the ball in his hands, Siniard is great at posting up on defenders down low and getting to the rim. He can also hit the midrange jumper and is a rebounding machine at both ends of the court.
Zaccheaus Lindsey | 5-11 G | Opp
Lindsey is a sensational two way player that can man both the guard and forward spots. He excels at driving in the open lane and finishes at the rim with ease. He can ice the game with late free throws and is great at forcing turnovers on defense on any possession.
With the ball in his hands, Lindsey can take over the game and light up the stat sheet.
Makhi Leverette | 5-7 G | Pike County
Leverette plays with a ton of energy and is a great leader for his team. When he has the ball, he can manage the game well and has a high knowledge of the game. Leverette can easily rise above defenders to hit contested shots or he can drive to the basket for a layup.
Zakevin Pennington | G | Pike County
Pennington isn’t a well known guard, but he plays at a very high level. The incoming senior plays with a ton of intensity on every possession and is a do it all player. If the ball is in his hands, Pennington will find a way to score. At the defensive end, he can pressure opposing ball handlers into unwanted shot selections. When he forces a turnover, Pennington uses his speed to run the fast break and get a quick basket at the other end of the court.
