Continue ReadingThere has been a ton of movement in the 2024 class over the last 6 months as several players have moved back to 2025 while others that were in 2023 are now 2024 prospects. We’ve also added a lot of new names to the list and expanded to over 70 prospects already in our 2024 rankings. Here’s a breakdown of the top stock risers in our 2024 rankings. This does not include players who reclassed from 2023 to 2024.
Hudson Blank Hudson Blank 6'2" | SF Dixie Heights | 2024 State KY , Dixie Heights – Blank is a tough and skilled guard/wing who excels at bullying his defender and getting to the rim. Hudson is a good shooter and capable of switching multiple positions on defense. He won’t blow you away athletically but he’s a good athlete and should be a scholarship level player down the road.
Riley Brown Riley Brown 6'3" | CG Washington County | 2024 State KY , Thomas Nelson – Brown is one of my favorite players in the 5th region. His long hair and headband stand out on the court but once you actually watch him, you come to appreciate how skilled Brown is. He’s a big time scorer that averaged double figures as a freshman and is likely to score a couple thousand points in the next few seasons.
Shaun Boykins Shaun Boykins 6'1" | PG North Hardin | 2024 State KY , North Hardin – A hard nosed guard, Boykins is another 5th region talent. He is very athletic and can score all over the court but thrives in transition. Shaun is deadly off the bounce and may ultimately be best as a facilitator more than a pure scorer.
Alex Evans Alex Evans 6'4" | PF Elizabethtown | 2024 State KY , North Hardin – North Hardin has a loaded 2024 class and Evans doesn’t get as much shine as some of the others but he’s a good prospect in his own respect. Alex is a thick combo forward who has shown he can get past defenders and finish or create for others and is an improving shooter from deep.
