Jordan Pyke Jordan Pyke 6'7" | PF Shining Light Academy | 2023 State NC | 6’7 Forward | Basketpoint USA Cook
Pyke is quite the frontcourt combination alongside Marshall Klug Marshall Klug 6'7" | SF Feltrim Academy (FL) | 2022 State NC for Basketpoint USA. He’s a prospect that runs the floor well on both ends, protects the rim defensively and finishes strong on the interior. As he learns to be a more active presence on the interior, look for his stock to grow in the class.
Zane Caudle Zane Caudle 5'11" | PG Providence Grove | 2022 State NC | 5’9 Point Guard | Basketpoint USA Cook
Caudle is a shifty point guard at 5-foot-9 with a ton of promise as a playmaker given his court vision. There isn’t a pass Caudle can’t make when it comes to leading teammates to easy points around the rim. He’s a pressure defender as well that looks to make opponents uncomfortable so he can force turnovers and start easy fastbreaks.
Thomas McIntosh Thomas McIntosh 6'7" | PF High Point Christian | 2022 State NC | 6’7 Wing/Forward | NL Disciples Elite
McIntosh is an emerging name in North Carolina’s 2022 class. He took over against the Durham Hurricanes , showing off his ability to get to the rim and knock down shots in the midrange and on the perimeter with 31 points. He finished the weekend with 14.3 ppg and proved he’ll be a breakout prospect soon enough this season at High Point Christian.
Josh Johnson Josh Johnson 5'11" | SG South Garner | 2022 State NC | 6’0 Guard | No Guts No Glory
Johnson continues to impress with his ability to do more than just score the ball. He’s a “first to the floor” type of prospect that doesn’t stop until the whistle sounds, looking to snag a rebound or force a turnover whenever his team doesn’t have the basketball. He’s learning to impact the game on both ends and as he shows his consistency shooting, more colleges are due to show interest.
Sawyer S Sawyer S 6'3" | SF HomeSchool | 2023 State NC | 6’2 Wing/Forward | No Guts No Glory
Simcik is working his way off the NC 2022 Watch List as he continues to shoot the ball. He’s really come into his own this summer as a confident shooter that can take and make shots with consistency. He posted 13.3 ppg on the weekend for No Guts No Glory while drawing interest from a number of college programs.
James Jones IV James Jones IV 6'2" | CG Thales Academy | 2022 State NC | 6’1 Guard | No Guts No Glory
Jones is another prospect who’s confidence has grown a ton over the summer and it’s paid off as he’s become a more consistent shooter and rebounder on the floor. He’s really found his way as a primary scoring threat and defender away from the ball. He’s a hidden gem over at Thales Academy.
