Khalil Ward Khalil Ward 6'3" | SG Richmond Christian | 2022 State VA | 6’1 Guard | Team Loaded CVA (Richmond Christian)
Ward is an athletic guard with nice strength and length that he uses well to get to the paint and finish through traffic. He used his athleticism well to get to his spots on the floor and make things happen in the paint.
Jaren Purvis | 6’6 Forward | Team Loaded CVA (Nelson County High)
Purvis is an emerging forward prospect that plays a physical brand of basketball in the paint and around the rim. He put up 18 points cleaning up the glass and finishing around the paint on the glass for his squad. He’s an emerging name to know in 2022.
Jayden Davis Jayden Davis 5'10" | CG Chartiers Valley | 2025 State PA | 6’2 Guard | NC Eagles (Jordan-Mathews)
Davis had an impressive opening day at Big Shots Virginia Live with 25 points in their first game of the day and 19 in their second game to produce 22.0 ppg through their first two contests. He was productive using his strength and frame to get to the rim and finish in traffic.
Cam Jones-Hood | 6’2 Guard | Team Loaded Bowman (Maury)
Jones-Hood is an impressive prospect in VA’s 2022 class with a knack for playmaking and knocking down shots without the ball in his hands. He opened the event with four made 3-pointers while finishing with 23 points despite a 2-point loss against VA Havoc. He’s even more of a presence on the defensive end using his strength to play the passing lanes and force turnovers.
Rasheed Daniels | 6’3 Guard/Wing | VA Bullets (Monacan)
Daniels was impressive in the VA Bullets opening win of Big Shots VA Live. He used his length and athleticism to fly around for blocks and rebounds while getting to his spots and working his jump shot as well. He put up 19 points to pace the offensive attack and was even more of a presence on the boards.
Rayshaun Alston Rayshaun Alston 5'7" | PG Jordan Matthews | 2022 State NC | 5’9 Guard | NC Eagles (Jordan-Mathews)
Alston is a lead scoring guard that continues to impress with his ability to operate with the ball in his hands. He showed off his ability to get to the rim and force the issue getting downhill wile averaging 12.0 ppg for the NC Eagles as they went 1-1 to open up pool play.
Cole Beasley | 6’3 Wing/Forward | Philly Ballhawks (Mastery Charter)
Beasley is an emerging prospect to keep an eye on with his ability to get to the paint and finish with authority. He put up 19 points while showing off his ability to operate on all three levels and be a threat with the ball in his hands.
Mekhi Reid | 6’3 Forward/Wing | Beach Xplosion (Tallwood)
Reid was an athletic prospect to keep eyes on with Beach Xplosion with his ability to play multiple roles on the floor with his length. He can fly around for blocks, shots and rebounds when he’s on the floor, making him quite the versatile threat. He finished with 17 points, showing off his ability to finish around the rim and get to the paint.
Trey Gillenwater Trey Gillenwater 6'2" | PG Eastern Mennonite | 2022 State VA | 6’2 Point Guard | Big Shots Elite Tricities (Eastern Mennonite)
Gillenwater was dialed in from behind the arc with eight 3-pointers in Big Shots Elite Tricities opening game of the day as they cruised to victory. He finished with 28 points while showing off his ability to knock down shots on the perimeter and be a treat on the perimeter.
