Camron Paul | 6’2 Guard/Wing | Truly Us
Paul led all scorers in the 15U Blue Division in scoring on the opening day of Big Shots Virginia Live with 31. He showed off his ability to score in a variety of ways in leading Truly Us to a 70-55 victory over Team Vito to kick things off. He’s an electric, wiry prospect with some versatility to go along with his 6-foot-2 frame.
Anthony Pineda | 5’5 Guard | Impact Elite (Avalon School)
Pineda opened Big Shots Virginia Live with 17 points, knocking down a number of 3-pointers and strong finishes in the paint. He’s an active presence on both ends that finds way to the ball on both ends of the floor. He’s a young sharpshooter to keep an eye on over at the Avalon School.
AJ Abegesah | 5’11 Guard/Wing | Impact Elite Black (Quince Orchard)
Abegesah is a relentless downhill threat with the ability to get downhill and finish in the paint as he did time and time again for Impact Elite Black to pace their offensive attack. He posted 12 points in the frontcourt for his squad in their opening win. He’s a strong, hybrid guard with the ability to be a presence on the interior as well. He’ll be a prospect to track in Maryland’s 2024 class.
Corey Heyward | 5’9 Guard | Impact Elite Black (Avalon School)
Heyward is an emerging guard in Maryland’s 2024 class with a high IQ for playmaking and knocking down shots on all three levels. He showed off his ability to distribute on the break and knock down shots, finishing with 13 points in their overall team win against PSB Elite Richmond. He’s a young guard to keep track of given his abilities.
Alexander Kirillin | 6’4 Forward/Center | PSB Elite Richmond (Douglas Freeman)
Kirillin is an active presence around the rim for PSB Elite Richmond. He showed his poise as a post presence with his back to the basket and his ability to finish through contact with 15 points despite losing their opening game at Big Shots Virginia Live. He’s a prospect with size to keep an eye on in VA’s 2024 class.
Kris Tiller | 6’2 Guard | Big Shots Elite WV 17U (Benedictine)
Tiller is a 2024 prospect that found himself playing up with Big Shots Elite West Virginia. He fared well playing up a few age divisions on the 17U stage, showing off his ability to make plays for himself and others. He put up 16 points all in the first half to power the offense with his fearless ability to score it on all three levels.
Robbie Futyma | Higher Level Sports 15 Premier (Colgan)
Futyma led the way in Higher Level Sports 15 Premier’s opening victory against River City Reign. He put up 17 points in a 57-40 victory as he showed off his ability to knock down shots and finish through traffic. He’s one to keep an eye on in their rotation over the next few days.
