There’s tons of events going on all over the country, but right here in VA there will be a private school event hosted at Blue Ridge School outside of Charlottesville.
We will preview the event in numerous ways, as we take a look at some of the 2023 prospects that I know of that hold division one offers already.

Curtis Blair III Curtis Blair III 6'6" | SF Steward School | 2023 State #211 Nation VA | 6’5” WF | Steward School
Offers: Florida, Richmond, Liberty, Virginia Tech
Synopsis: Blair is one of the top players in the 2023 class and is coming off of an injury so he’ll have his opportunity to show what he can do after a good sophomore season. At 6’5” Blair is a smooth wing with good length and athleticism, he can put it on the deck and create space and make shots from multiple levels and the rate that he’s improved over the past few years bolds well for him moving forward.
Malik Bowman Malik Bowman 6'7" | PF Bishop Walsh | 2023 MD | 6’7” F | Bishop Walsh
Offers: WVU, San Diego State, Xavier, Seton Hall, Wichita State, Virginia Tech, Georgetown, Bryant
Synopsis: A freak athlete with good physical traits that can play multiple positions, Bowman is a mismatch who can put it on the deck and get to the rim, he plays above the rim on both ends and he has good strength in the paint on both ends.
Tyler Mason Tyler Mason 6'10" | PF Minnesota Prep | 2023 MD | 6’8” PF | Bishop Walsh
Offers: Xavier, DePaul, Seton Hall, Southern Utah, Wichita State
Synopsis: An intriguing big man who is a walking mismatch, Mason is a very good stretch big man that can play both on the perimeter and in the paint and is only going to continue to get better moving forward. The 6’8” forward can make shots from deep, he’s athletic and he can finish above the rim and protect the rim and he plays hard on both ends as well.

Offers: Ole Miss, Texas A&M, Virginia Tech, ODU
Synopsis: One of the top young big men on the east coast, Lang is a highly productive big man that has a good skill set and plays hard every moment he’s on the floor. The 6’9” lefty is big target in the paint that can finish over his shoulder through contact, he pursues the basketball hard and is a good rebounder both in and out of his area and he can step out and stretch the floor as well.

Offers: Georgetown, Coastal Carolina, Bryant, Southern Utah, Stetson
Synopsis: St. Germain is one of the top floor generals I have seen in the 2023 class, and his game gives off strong vibes of guys like Andre Miller who just control the game and make winning plays on both ends of the floor. He is always in control and plays with great pace, he sees the floor and makes good reads and he’s able to score it from all over with the ball in his hands.
Luke Smith Luke Smith 6'9" | C Collegiate | 2023 State VA | 6’8” PF | Collegiate School
Offers: Bryant
Synopsis: Smith will have a chance to make a name for himself at this event as the 6’8” forward has a lot of tools that are very intriguing moving forward. He’s a perimeter oriented big that can shoot it from deep, he’s able to attack closeouts and score it from the midrange or around the basket and he is an excellent passer as well.
Steven Stinson Steven Stinson 6'5" | SF John Marshall | 2023 State VA | 6’4” WF | Trinity Episcopal
Offers: VCU, Virginia Tech, Ohio, ETSU, Robert Morris
Synopsis: Stinson was set to be a breakout guy at Trinity last year before the season was canceled, and he’s already a hot target for coaches who haven’t really had an opportunity to see him. The 6’4” wing is a high motor and strong guy who can bully smaller wings, he has good feel off the bounce and he’s an excellent rebounder as well as a good scorer in a multitude of ways.
