Bates elevated his stock with a very good spring in the events we saw him on the Prep Hoops Circuit. What you like here is the multi-level scoring from the point guard spot along with his ability to get in the opponent’s head on the defensive end creating turnovers.

Brown is a thicker guard than his teammate Bates. With RISE he also showed intriguing tools. Strong bodied guard is a plus passer that knows how to run a team in the half court and is a beast on the defensive end taking out the other teams top perimeter threat.

We put this duo together as they have been so good for Breakaway throughout the spring. Durkin and VanderWal will get all the pub, but it has been this lead guard combo that has consistently ran the show and made everything go smoothly. Couple of outstanding small college floor generals.
