Jeremy Clayville Jeremy Clayville 6'1" | CG St. Joe's Metuchen | 2024 State NJ , 6’0 CG All-In
Clayville was locked in from the opening tip as he was scoring the ball effectively all night. The 6’0 guard was on fire from distance as he buried numerous threes throughout both games. Clayville shot the ball with confidence as he did not hesitate when he was given space on the perimeter. He did more than just shoot as he was also able to get into the lane and finish around the basket. Clayville’s ability to score the basketball is something that will help his game as the summer rolls on.
Andrew Stack Andrew Stack 6'2" | SG Madison | 2022 State NJ , 6’3 SG Unity Legends
Stack had a great showing on opening day as he hit a big-time shot late in overtime to give Unity Legends the upset victory over Team Rio University. The 6’3 guard was lights out from deep as he buried nearly every open look he got. Stack’s release was lightning quick and he got more confident with every shot that he made. His movement off the ball allowed for him to get open shots on the perimeter and he also showed the ability to score in the mid-range. Stack’s shooting is something that will help his stock with the live period starting soon.
Ben Roy Ben Roy 6'2" | PG Manasquan | 2022 State #218 Nation NJ , 6’1 PG Team Rio University 17U
Roy was tremendous all day as he continued to make big plays for Team Rio University when they needed him most. The 6’1 guard has a tight handle as defenders struggled to keep him out of the lane. Roy shot the ball with confidence from deep and hit a clutch three to tie the game with under 20 seconds left. He made several nice passes throughout the day and held his own when switched to bigger defenders in the post. Roy is a gamer who makes plays when his team needs him most.
Aaron Jones Aaron Jones 5'9" | PG Peddie | 2022 State NJ , 5’9 PG Shore Shots Kovner 17U
Jones made a name for himself on the opening day as he was nearly automatic from distance. The 5’9 guard has a quick release on his jumper and has deep range. Jones sets his feet before he shoots and moves well without the ball in his hands. He has a nice handle and is a good on-ball defender. Jones is a knockdown shooter from distance whose ability to hit triples will benefit his game with the live period starting soon.
Peter Noble Peter Noble 6'2" | PG CBA | 2024 State NJ , 6’0 PG Shore Shots Iasperro 15U
Noble was making plays all day for Shore Shots as he was able to consistently get to his spot on the offensive end. The 6’0 guard shot the ball from behind the arc with confidence and hit several triples on the day. Noble did more than just shoot as he was able to break his defender down off the bounce and make several tough layups around the basket. He is a good passer and works hard on the defensive end. Noble’s ability to score in different ways is something that will only benefit his game as the summer season moves forward.
