Championship Sunday at the Summer Showdown was filled with so many good performances, that one article was not enough. Here are more standouts from Championship Sunday at the Summer Showdown.

Evan Cabral Evan Cabral 6'1" | CG Don Bosco Prep | 2023 State NJ , 6’1 CG All-In

Cabral was all over the floor for All-In as he helped lead his team to the 16U Blue championship. The 6’1 guard was aggressive attacking the basket as he finished many tough layups through traffic. Cabral pushed the ball well in transition and made good decisions in the half court. He was a force on the offensive glass and made plays all day on the defensive end. Cabral’s ability to affect the game at both ends of the floor is something that will help his stock.

Ben Kipnis Ben Kipnis 6'2" | SG Holmdel | 2024 State NJ , 6’2 SG/SF Shore Shots Iasperro 15U

Kipnis was making plays on Sunday as he showed his ability to impact the game in multiple ways. The 6’2 wing has a nice release on his jumper and shoots the ball with confidence from distance. Kipnis did more than just the shoot as he was able to break his defender down off the bounce and get to the rim. He made several good passes in transition
