Mason Harvey – 6’6 PF – Seton Catholic – All Area Basketball Program Gold 2024: Harvey was easily one of the few that impressed me this summer. Tall stretch 4 with a great shooting stroke and can get hot at any moment. Not super strong right now but has the skill and talent to make it work. This summer, Harvey will pass the eye test right off the bat and then will impress you with his play as well.
D’amare Hood – 6’3 SF – Delta – All Area Basketball Program Gold 2024: Hood is a tall wing with a ton of athleticism. Has a high motor and uses his length well on both ends. Has a mixed bag of offense as he can do a little bit of everything. Lot of upside in Hood that will expose itself this summer.
Jack Benter Jack Benter 6'4" | SG Brownstown Central | 2024 State #121 Nation IN – 6’3 SF – Brownstown Central – Grand Park Premier Red 2024: Benter is a straight up shooter, no question about it. Good sized wing that has a solid feel for the game already. Sticks mostly to the outside but can battle in the paint from time to time. Arguably the best pure shooter on this list and should impress this summer.
Jackson Wors Jackson Wors 6'4" | PF Delta | 2024 State IN – 6’3 SF – Delta – Indiana Faith 2024: Wors is a big sized wing that can do a little bit of everything. Uses his size and strength well on the drive and has that natural explosiveness to his play. Plays the baseline well and just really can do some damage 15ft and in. Untapped potential still there for Wors that I am excited to see come out.
Jayce Strode Jayce Strode 6'5" | PF Frankfort | 2024 IN – 6’4 PF – Frankfort – Indiana Faith 2024: Strode is an old school power forward in every sense. Real aggressive and is a powerful glass cleaner on both ends. Rolls hard to the basket after every screen and also has some solid ball handles for his size. Tough player all around.
Matt Hofer Matt Hofer 6'5" | PF Valparaiso | 2024 IN – 6’5 PF – Valpariso – Indiana Game Premier 2024: I do not think there was anybody as naturally strong as Hofer that I saw this past spring. He has raw talent right now but once he cleans up a few things, he could be scary to go up against. Has all the potential to be a very consistent post defender with more experience. Interested to see how he looks this summer.
Riley Shepard – 6’3 SF – Tippicanoe Valley – Summit City Elite: Shepard is a bigger wing with great size and the ability to score the ball. Real balanced player already with a real nice step-back jumper. He is a guy that you can tell is going to get better and better with more experience. Great spring season with a summer that should continue to raise his stock.
Michael Griffith Michael Griffith 6'3" | SF Hamilton Southeastern | 2024 State IN – 6’3 PF – Hamilton Southeastern – Grand Park Premier Black 2024: Griffith is a shorter power forward that looked dominate at times this past spring. Pretty efficient player that crashes the boards on both ends aggressively. Real athletic and can make a defender pay in transition. Might be the darkhorse of this group this summer to have a breakout season.
Tyson Frey – 6’3 PF – Fairfield – Tipping Point 2024: Frey is a shorter power forward with a huge frame. Pretty mobile for his size and is solid on the pick and roll. Still a little too patient at times with his post moves but that should work itself out. Interesting prospect to watch here.
Anthony Garret – 6’5 SF – Home School – INB Elite 2024: Garret is a taller, athletic wing with skill. For as long as he is, his speed is pretty impressive and pares real well with his long stride. Not going to beat you with strength but will use his athleticism to his advantage. Interesting prospect right now that could breakout soon.
