Ryan Conwell Ryan Conwell 6'2" | SG Pike | 2022 State #155 Nation IN (Pike/EG10/2022)
Probably the most impressive player this spring for me has been Conwell. He is a steady force who plays a lot on the ball and continues to emerge as a playmaker in every aspect for his team. The lefty guard is someone who has already shown his effectiveness at driving the ball, but this spring he showed his ability to be a very consistent jump shooter. His overall offensive game is extremely well-rounded and is just getting better each time he steps on the floor.
Fletcher Loyer Fletcher Loyer 6'4" | SG Homestead | 2022 State #108 Nation IN (Homestead/Indy Heat/2022)
Loyer has continued his terrific play and carried it over from his high school season. He has good size on the perimeter and his quick release on his jumper makes him a very difficult player to defend. He has a very consistent jump shot and he showed his ability to get hot in multiple games this spring with range that stretches to NBA distance. Loyer has also taken the next step as a playmaker for his teammates.
Joey Hart Joey Hart 6'5" | SG Linton-Stockton | 2023 State #214 Nation IN (Linton Stockton/Grand Park Premier 2023 UA Rise/2023)
Hart is just a very smooth and consistent player every time I see him play. He has good size, length and terrific athletic ability. In attack mode, Hart is terrific, either getting to the rim or connecting from the outside. His shot is extremely repeatable and his quick release puts a ton of pressure on defenders. While Hart isn’t a point guard, he has grown very much as a ball handler and playmaker this spring, too.
Myles J. Colvin Myles J. Colvin 6'5" | SG Heritage Christian | 2023 State #51 Nation IN (Heritage Christian/INB 2023 Elite/2023)
Colvin showcased a great ability to be a go-to scorer this spring. He has good size on the perimeter and adds to it with plus-size length and solid frame. With his size, he is able to get in the lane and finish at the rim through defenders. While Colvin’s athleticism is there and he tends to get what he wants while slashing pretty easily, his jumper is good as well. He has a confident stroke and possess a good ability to elevate and has consistent mechanics.
Jordan Lomax (Avon/INB 2024 Platinum/2024)
One of the more impressive underclassmen I saw this spring was Lomax. The rising sophomore has been an absolute offensive threat from all over the floor. He has a 35-point and multiple 20+ point outings this spring. He’s a combo guard and a terrific athlete who is extremely long. Lomax is best getting into the lane and using his length to finish above defenders at this stage but his jumper is still effective too.
