Yoav Rabbi, 6-3, position SG, B2L, Newton South
Yoav Is a shooting guard who is a playmaker. Yoav is 6-3 and a strong built, with a long reach. He can score from the outside and in. Yoav has really improved his shot over the years and become a threat from the outside. Yoav has a wide versatile skill set. Yoav can score from the wing by attacking the basket, and also can shoot. Yoav has good strong finishing moves at the rim. He is aggressive and attacks the basket hard. Yoav also knows when to kick in out, and doesn’t force up shots. Yoav is a physical player and is a great rebounder, especially for a guard. On defense yoav can guard 1-5, and plays good defense without fouling. Yoav was on a loaded Newton south team last year, and still managed to make an impact for the team as an underclassmen. I expect yoav to be an even bigger part of the south team next year. Yoav is a player you should watch.
Lucas Wardly, B2L, Newton North SG,
Lucas is a sharp shooting Guard. Lucas makes his money shooting the three. Lucas is a high volume three point shooter. Lucas also had good handles and is very quick. Lucas has a crafty set of ball handling and shooting skills. Lucas is a good passer and ball handler.
Will Davis, B2L Newton North, PF/C
Will is a very strong and solid post player. He had good footwork in the post, a nice touch and is a strong built. He can also score off the dribble. Will is also a good passer from the post. Will draws a lot of fouls and can hit his free throws. Will also plays good defense and good help side defense. Will has a high basketball IQ.
Joe Nugent, Somerset Berkley, HT 6’6, position F
The lefty forward is a dominate scorer. Joe averaged 23 points per game this past high school season. Joe’s game is a perfect fit for today’s basketball. A stretch forward who can really space the floor with his shot, has guard like ball handling skills, mobile, and can also dominate in the inside as well. Joe is a high level player and a double double machine. I feel Joe will be able to play at high levels.
Jorbert Peralta, Salem Academy, Position PG, SG,HT 5’10
Jobert is a very good on ball defender. He moves his feet well and is good at getting a hand in the passing lane. Jobert averages almost 4 steals per game. Jobert is quick and athletic. Jobert is a two way player and plays hard on both ends. Jobert also has good handles. I expect him to make a big jump going into his junior year season.
