PH chose to put a focus on the upcoming class of 2022 players who we haven’t seen much of during the shut down, and the short high school season. Here’s a list of prospects standing 6’5 to 6’9 who played well at this event.
Timothy Netate 6’7 Forward of Carlmont HS 2022
Netate is a prospect we’re seeing for the first time. He can do multiple things on the court. His inside work stood out at this event. He has good strength, and a solid body to be an effective rebounder, and scorer for his team. He had multiple rebounds, put backs for buckets. He’ll rebound and push, and had some success on the dribble drive working the baseline. He has a 3pt shot. He defended the post, blocked a few shots. He’s on the watch list.
Antonio Pusateri Antonio Pusateri 6'7" | SF Archbishop Riordan | 2022 State CA-N 6’6 Wing/Forward of Archbishop Riordan HS 2022.
A long, slender, bouncy prospect who did a good job of filling the lanes in transition at this event. He produced a few open court dunks. He’ll rebound and push in transition. He has a good touch in the paint, and his length allows him to finish over taller players on occasion. He plays with good energy. He has good long strides getting up the court.
Milo Goehring Milo Goehring 6'7" | PF Nevada Grass Union | 2022 State CA-N 6’7 F/C of Nevada Union HS 2022
Gohering is a fundamentally sound prospect, still developing his overall skill set, he has good upside though. He understands what he can do on the court right now. He did a good job working the screen and roll play, he had good passes from the high post, and he made good cuts to the block. He can score inside, but could use some strengthening. We’ll see more of him, he’s on the Watch list.
Chase Mitchell 6’5 Forward of Pleasant Valley HS 2022
Mitchell is the closest we’ll get to having a glue guy from this event, what he lacked in point production, he made up for it with his hard workstyle of play. He put in good work hustling up the court, and scrapping for rebounds, and loose balls. He had a few offensive rebounds, and was able to convert for points.
Anthony Williams Anthony Williams 6'8" | PF Inderkum | 2022 State CA-N 6’8 Forward of Inderkum HS 2022
We’ve seen Williams a few times before. He has all the size and length you’d want in a basketball player. He’s still in the process of building his body and skill set. He’s a decent post area defender, with shot blocking capabilities. He has a nice jump hook in the paint and has worked on shooting 3’s from the top. More weight, more skill development will see his stock go up.
