Justin Bailey Justin Bailey 6'1" | PG Blue Ridge | 2022 State SC – Blue Ridge HS
Bailey plays up along the North Carolina border in Blue Ridge. Bailey walked away with a offer from Charleston Southern University this past weekend. Bailey runs with Upward Stars Southeast 2022 on the Grassroots Circuit. Bailey can play both guard positions can really turn the order and get the ball up the floor or knockdown the open jumper. Bailey really looks to make plays for others while on the floor.
Jordan Simpson Jordan Simpson 6'5" | CG Orangeburg-Wilkinson | 2022 State SC – Orangeburg-Wilkinson HS
Simpson picked up a offer from High Point this week after visiting the campus. Simpson has a knack to score the ball and hit shots on the perimeter.
Kheni Briggs Kheni Briggs 6'4" | CG The Burlington School | 2022 State NC – Gray Collegiate
Briggs recently transferred into the Palmetto State from A.L. Brown HS (NC). Briggs a left-handed guard has picked up plenty of interest since his arrival this spring. Briggs recently picked up a offer from Jacksonville University.
Jazian Gortman Jazian Gortman 6'2" | PG Keenan | 2022 SC – Keenan HS
Gortman what can’t you say about this young man. Gortman is fun to watch with his ability to really take over a game at anytime. Gortman have plenty of suitors from the High Major Ranks recruiting him.
Zachary Davis Zachary Davis 6'8" | CG Denmark-Olar | 2022 State SC – Denmark-Olar HS
Davis earlier this week gave a early pledge to the University of South Carolina Gamecocks for next year. Davis and Simpson both play on Big Shots Elite SC Premier 2022 for Head Coach Lance Gurley. Davis bit of a late bloomer over the past 18 months has great length on the floor from his position.
Julian Kiett Julian Kiett 6'3" | CG Irmo | 2022 State SC – Irmo HS
“Juice” just brings it on every possession of the game – CONSTANT ENERGY. Kiett likes to get the ball downhill with his play and explode to the cup. Juice picked up a offer this week from Francis Marion University and Benedict College.
Kory Davis Kory Davis 5'11" | PG York Prep | 2022 State SC – York Prep
Davis is just one of the Davis twins in the Patriots backcourt. Davis will take a charge on command, dive on the floor, grab a loose ball or hit a open shot all in the matter of a minute at times. Davis just plays the game with no emotion at times – no fist pumping, no jumping up and down, no pounding the chest. no throwing his arms up in the air. Davis just PLAYS the game to his fullest ability at all times.
Caleb Byrd Caleb Byrd 6'1" | PG Mauldin | 2022 State SC – Mauldin HS
Byrd a guard on the Mavericks roster can really pile up some points in a short time on the floor. Caleb has the ability to create his own offense on the floor and for others. Byrd converted several three pointers here today when he was knocking down fadeaway jumpers at times.
Ca’Darrius Sowell Ca’Darrius Sowell 6'0" | PG Andrew Jackson | 2022 State SC – Andrew Jackson HS (Kershaw) (pictured on front)
Sowell had a strong showing at the camp and walked away with a offer from Francis Marion University. Sowell brings so much confidence and competitive edge to floor with his game. Sowell converted several pull-up jumpers today when he wasn’t be crafty with the ball in his hands. Sowell is the ultimate team player and really at times looks to sacrifice his personal stats for the better of the team.
Russell Branch Russell Branch 6'2" | PG Fork Union Military Academy | 2022 State SC – Barnwell HS
Branch plays a bit off the grid down in Barnwell County near the Georgia border. Branch does a great job getting to the foul line and converting baskets. Branch really likes to drive the ball to the cup and take the punishment on the other ends it seems at a high rate. Branch went over 1,000 career points last season for the Warhorses.
Bobby Taylor Bobby Taylor 5'10" | PG Daniel | 2022 State SC – Daniel HS (Central)
Taylor a left-handed point guard picked up a offer from local NCAA D2 program Southern Wesleyan University. Taylor plays the game very under-control and always seems to make smart decisions. Bobby can get the ball into the paint and then make that extra pass to a teammate.
Houston Jones Houston Jones 6'4" | SG Dutch Fork | 2022 State SC – Dutch Fork HS
Jones is a bit of a Sniper from behind the arc with his ability to shoot the ball. Jones picked up a offer this week from Francis Marion University. Jones is a SHOOTER with good range on his shot. Houston plays for his father Bret Jones at Dutch Fork HS.
Samuel Perry Samuel Perry 6'2" | CG Christ Church | 2022 State SC – Christ Church
Perry guided the Cavaliers to a Class 2A State Championship last season. Perry can play up-tempo or in a half style court game. Perry makes good reads on the floor and has the ability to knockdown open shots.
Davion Joyner Davion Joyner 6'1" | PG Fort Dorchester | 2022 State SC – Fort Dorchester HS
Joyner is a multi sport athlete from the Lower State. Joyner has seen much basketball in the past 18 months with the Pandemic. Joyner averaged 10.6 ppg this past season in 10 games for the Patriots (9-1).
Jalen Burnett Jalen Burnett 6'3" | SG Northwestern | 2022 State SC – Northwestern HS (Rock Hill)
Burnett has a nice mid-range game that leads to him scoring a ton of points at times. Burnett can create his own shot on the floor.
Chris Abercrombie Chris Abercrombie 6'1" | CG Wade Hampton | 2022 State SC – Wade Hampton HS (Greenville)
Abercrombie came out of nowhere this weekend with his play. Abercrombie was wearing a different jersey number than the one in the program. Abercrombie #21 for the Generals this weekend moved really well off the ball. Chris competed and defended at a good clip vs Keenan HS. Abercrombie got the ball to the paint and off the bounce.
