Olympus High School
Olympus has size, speed and strength at all positions. They also have multiple players that can produce. Jack Wistrcill Jack Wistrcill 6'8" | PF Olympus | 2022 State UT is going to be a problem, especially in 5A. He can score inside and out and he defends well. Olympus has a number of guards that can go. I was intrigued by Will Rich who really jumped out as a great all around player. His poise is great.
Lone Peak High School
Lone Peak is tough, fast and has a lot of shooting. There younger teams have size that will eventually translate but the varsity players can really hurt teams in a 5-out set and simple force teams to play outside . They will be a team that might fly under the radar that will likely sneak up on people.
Bingham High School
Big guards with a mix of experience and youth. Devin Carlson Devin Carlson 6'8" | SF Bingham | 2022 State UT looks good along with Ace Reiser Ace Reiser 6'0" | PG Alta | 2024 State UT and Kam Dupaix Kam Dupaix 6'5" | CG Bingham | 2022 State UT . They can play in the halfcourt and they can also play the up and down games.
Pleasant Grove High School
What a great group of players coming out of PG. Let’s start with Jordan Ross Jordan Ross 6'3" | PG Link Academy | 2023 #132 Nation MO who is playing lights out and will rise in July as a stock riser even though he is already at #5. He is composed and he is developing. At 6’1 and maybe 6’2 he really looks good at the PG spot. PG will play anyone and everyone and they will be a tough team to beat.
Alta High School
Alta might have been an after thought as they have their big man injured ( Jaxon Heiden Jaxon Heiden 6'9" | PF Alta | 2022 State UT )for a few more weeks but with a new coaching staff it looks like they have new life as they are playing some solid basketball. They are playing like a team and they’re moving the ball around.
