Our post event coverage features 100+ scouting reports on prospects in the event. Here is Riverside Brookfield: 2024 and 2025 Evaluations!
Class of 2024
Isaiah Green (Hillcrest)
Green had a strong spring with Indy Premiere. He is a wiry strong guard with plus athleticism and can score off the bounce. He showed flashes of that on a few acrobatic drives. Needs to lessen the turnovers to be the best prospect he can be.
Lee Marks (Homewood Flossmoor)
Marks stands at 6’4” with a rangy frame. Lengthy wing that impacts the game on both ends. Finishes well off dump offs and put backs. Like what he brought on the defensive end.
Payton Kamin Payton Kamin 6'7" | SF Worcester Academy | 2025 State NLG (DePaul Prep)
Kamin landed his first of many D1 offers to follow. Plus size on the perimeter with a big time shot that has a low release point. It goes in at a very high rate especially off the catch. Solid athlete that looks like DePaul’s next star.
Jaedin Reyna Jaedin Reyna 6'0" | PG Bishop Noll | 2024 State IN (St. Rita)
Reyna is a high IQ guard that plays with a ton of creativity. Speed pushing it in the open floor blowing past his opponents. Finishes in the lane with spinning layups and is an excellent passer with his advanced feel. Inside track to be the top point guard in the 2024 class.
Morez Johnson Morez Johnson 6'9" | PF Thornton | 2024 State #33 Nation IL (St. Rita)
Johnson wowed college coaches in many of their first looks at him. He has size at about 6’8” with broad shoulders and plus plus athleticism. Fits the new game with his mobility on the interior and being able to put it on the deck from the mid-post. Mid-range jump shots and finished well around the hoop through contact. High-major guy all the way!
James Brown James Brown 6'9" | C Link Academy (from Chicago) | 2024 #66 Nation MO (St. Rita)
Brown will debut at #1 in the class of 2024 when it is released this fall. Elite skilled five man that rebounded excellent against several veteran big men. He snatched boards in traffic and put them back on the offensive end. Finished dump off passes and other conversions around the hoop. Defensively he made it difficult on opponents by using his length.
Will Gonzalez Will Gonzalez 6'5" | SF Curie | 2024 State IL (Riverside Brookfield)
First in person look at Gonzalez. The two guard has nice size and athleticism on the wing. Slasher that put it on the deck and looked smooth with the ball in his hands in transition. Potential as a wing defender.
Carlos Harris Carlos Harris 6'1" | SG Curie | 2024 State #283 Nation IL (Curie)
Harris has the look of a D1 combo guard. Slasher that gets to the rim with strength and loves to get downhill. Rebounds well for a guard and is a physical defender.
Taevion Collier Taevion Collier 6'6" | PF Curie | 2024 State IL (Curie)
Collier opened eyes of college coaches with how he rebounded in traffic and displayed flashes of scoring in the paint with right handed hook shots. Shot blocking presence defensively. D1 big man early on.
Andre Blakely (Lakin)
Blakely transferred over to Larkin from Marmion and is fitting in nicely. The sophomore lit up in the nets in the game we caught. Plus shooter that drained at least five of them in a 30+ point outing. Can hit off the catch and pull up off the bounce. Also has a nice float game. Scoring point guard is one to monitor at the D1 level.
Jake Riemer (Downers Grove North)
Riemer is a long and rangy post that has face up four skills. Good athlete that passes well out of the high-post. Rim ran in transition and even hit a three.
Jack Stanton (Downers Grove North)
Stanton broke out with a great shooting performance. The 5’10” lead guard from DGN knocked in a trio from beyond the arc in the game we caught. Sharp shooting point guard.
Josh Pickett Josh Pickett 6'5" | SG St. Laurence | 2024 State #277 Nation IL (West Aurora)
Pickett made the move over West Aurora for his sophomore season after a nice freshman campaign at St. Rita. Love the positional size early in the process. Crisp and clean looking jump shot with the strength along with athleticism to be a plus drive. Good wing defender as well. Projects as one of the better guards in the class at this stage.
Class of 2025
Melvin Bell (St. Rita)
Bell has a bright future. Long and rangy wing that played limited minutes throughout the weekend and is just oozing with potential.
Antonio Munoz (Whitney Young)
Munoz was absolutely dynamic when we saw him on Friday. Bouncy wing made his arrival abundantly clear skying above the rim for a couple monster dunks. Defends well on the perimeter and more than held his own against top prospects several years older than him.
Jeremiah Fears (Joliet West)
Fears is the younger brother of Jeremy. He will be the go to guy from day 1 for Joliet West. The freshman is a small guard that can shoot it with deep range, has slick handles, and is a playmaker with the rock in his hands. Had one game where he dropped 26 over the weekend.
