His strength and explosiveness enabled him to dominate in the post and on the offensive boards. He also plays with a high basketball IQ with the ability to take the rebound and go coast to coast for the layup or the dunk. He was also knocking down perimeter jumpers throughout the event.
Cameron Williams Cameron Williams 6'8" | PF Cape Girardeau Central | 2023 State MO 6’8″ Cape Girardeau Central: A 2023 prospect with the body of a power forward and the skill set of a perimeter player. Cole Nichols Cole Nichols 6'2" | PG Dexter | 2023 State MO 6’2″ Dexter: A 2023 shooting guard who will become the focal point of the Bearcats’ squad after the graduation of six key players. He looked ready to take on the added responsibility as he found ways to score at all three levels while taking on more ball handling duties. He is physically stronger which helped him get to the basket at play through the contact.
Shamar Williamson 6’0″ New Madrid Central: The 2022 guard is a dynamic guard who is a whirlwind of activity at both ends of the floor. He loves to get downhill on the dribble and he did a nice job of finishing in the lane through contact. He was also hitting his share of 3-pointers to keep defenders honest. He is also very disruptive on the defensive end, which is a staple for any player who plays for legendary coach Lennies McFerren.
John Brandtner John Brandtner 6'5" | SG Cape Girardeau Central | 2022 State MO 6’5″ Cape Girardeau Central: A 2022 wing player who brings good size to the perimeter.
