Gathering a list of players and choosing which rank best fits the individual was a tall task, but we do our best to keep them updated every three months. Our recent update includes an increase in the number of players. Let us take a closer look at 10 newcomers to the rankings.

Here are 10 players that are new to the rankings:
Nick Carlson Nick Carlson 6'4" | SF West Fargo | 2022 State ND |6-3 F| West Fargo/ECI – He will be the next star forward for the Packers. Nick played behind two tough seniors last year. In AAU Carlson has shown that he is physical, tough, and skilled. He has been consistent all spring. Nick will be one of the top “New Names” in the EDC next year.
Alex Proctor Alex Proctor 6'1" | SG Fargo Davies | 2022 State ND |6-1 G| Fargo Davies/ECI – He will be a high-energy player for the Eagles next season. Alex is a gifted athlete with great leaping ability. He can slam it violently or flush it with elegance. Proctor is at his best in transition and when he is playing fast. Davies has an exciting playing with Mr. Proctor.
Adam Bitz Adam Bitz 5'11" | SG Valley City | 2022 State ND |5-11 G| Valley City/ND Attack – He is a solid athlete that excels at going downhill. Bitz can shoot it consistently from three-point land. Adam has a big upside within his game.
Jaxen Johnson Jaxen Johnson 6'5" | PF North Border | 2022 State ND |6-5 F| North Border/ND Attack – He will be one of the top frontcourt players in Northeast ND next year. Johnson moves well and he has long arms. He can score inside and from the perimeter. Jaxen has the ability to knock down triples. He will be one of the best rebounders in Region-2. North Border will be a Top-10 ranked team before the season starts. Jaxen will be a key piece for the Eagles.
Ben Morman Ben Morman 6'10" | C St. Mary's | 2022 State ND |6-10 F| St. Mary’s/ND Phenom – His length is unmatched. Ben is one of the best “true bigs” in the WDA. He is a reliable post defender and an obvious rim protector. Morman’s size and length are intriguing.
Mason Wick Mason Wick 6'3" | SF Hazen | 2022 State ND |6-4 G| Hazen/ND Attack – He will be one of the better shooters in Region-7 next season. Playing AAU will improve his movement and show him what it takes to get your shot off at a high level. Wick has the potential to be a lethal threat from downtown. I imagine he will have grown a few inches and he will be improved athletically. Wick will be a dangerous player.
Cade Stein Cade Stein 6'1" | SG Dakota Prarie | 2022 State ND (2022) |6-1 G| Dakota Prairie/ND Attack – He has the potential to be a consistent and volume scorer in his senior season. Playing AAU ball should improve his scoring ability. Cade has solid skills and a legit scoring mentality. He will put up impressive numbers in his senior year.
Leighton Strommen Leighton Strommen 6'3" | SG Northern Cass | 2022 State ND (2022) |6-3 G| Northern Cass/ND Attack – He loves the game of basketball and Leighton is a gym rat. That is a great compliment for any basketball player. Strommen can handle the rock well and he can finish amongst the BIGS. Leighton will come into his senior season with high expectations.
Dawson Filibeck Dawson Filibeck 6'3" | SF Beulah | 2022 State ND (2022) |6-3 F| Beulah – This lefty will need to do some solid scoring for the Miners next year. Brandt will draw a ton of attention and Dawson will have plenty of chances for open looks. He will need to do some scoring if Beulah wants to win another Region Championship. Dawson will be a solid rebounder and tough defender.
Kade McKinnon Kade McKinnon 6'2" | SF Central Cass | 2022 ND (2022) |6-2 F| Central Cass – Another lefty who will be expected to have a big senior season. The Squirrels will depend on him for defense and to be a difference-maker. He is a solid all-around player. Kade’s athleticism is intriguing.
