The time and effort dedicated to adding more players to the rankings by our staff do not compare to the hard work and effort of the new players entered into our database. These new members are definitely deserving of the honor to be a part of this talented Pennsylvania group.
11) Kevaughn Price Kevaughn Price 6'3" | SG Bishop Canevin | 2022 State PA / 6’1 / shooting guard / Bishop Canevin High School
- A talented, athletic guard that creates opportunities for his teammates as well as himself during a game
- He has the ball-handling skills necessary to limit turnovers offensively
- Kevaughn is an above-average defender and rebounds from the guard position
13) Brevan Williams / 6’5 / wing forward / Greensburg Central Catholic High School
- He has the length and elusiveness to get to the basket for quality finishes at the basket
- A good defender that looks to push the ball in transition on defensive rebounds
- Brevan can fill up the stat sheet in a variety of categories with his performances
16) Jaden Gales Jaden Gales 6'7" | PF Bishop Canevin | 2022 State PA / 6’5 / small forward / Bishop Canevin High School
- An overall talented player that excels in a multitude of ways on the court
- The athleticism displayed during a game creates match-up problems for his opponents
- Jaden plays defense at a high level and likes to get out on the break with strong finishes at the rim
21) Vason Stevenson Vason Stevenson 6'3" | SG Montour | 2022 State PA / shooting guard / Montour High School
- This high basketball IQ player is devoted to making his team better around him
- He looks to score from the perimeter and on drives in the lane
- Vason plays well on the defensive end of the floor with quick hands that create steals in the half-court set
26) Joe Scott Joe Scott 6'6" | SF Lincoln Park | 2022 State PA / 6’6 / small forward / Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School
- He uses his length on the defense to protect the rim and deflect passes in the paint
- A player who can score from fifteen feet and in the low post with excellent footwork
- Joe is a high-energy performer that plays with confidence and motivates his team
34) Isayah Mosley Isayah Mosley 6'5" | PF Montour | 2022 State PA / 6’5 / power forward / Montour High School
- An extremely talented big man that likes to block shots and get on the floor for loose balls
- The hustle and effort he displays throughout a game is what separates him from many opponents
- Isayah will always look to make the right play for the betterment of his teammates
46) Kai Spears Kai Spears 6'1" | SG Bishop Canevin | 2022 State PA / 6’1 / shooting guard / Bishop Canevin High School
- A quick, lanky high flyer that despite his height can dunk like a big man
- He has a quality jumper from the perimeter and likes to get out in transition
- Kai is the ultimate team player and is similar to a coach on the floor during a game
59) Aden Saunders Aden Saunders 6'2" | SG Montour | 2022 State PA / 6’2 / wing forward / Montour High School
- An exceptionally strong, athletic defender who thrives on physical play
- He enjoys guarding the opponents best player regardless of position, guard, or forward
- Aden shoots free throws at a high rate of success, which on penetration to the basket draws the “and-1” contact
61) Lorenzo Jenkins Lorenzo Jenkins 6'2" | SF Blackhawk | 2022 State PA / 6’2 / wing forward / Blackhawk High School
- The ability of this young man to fill the lane in transition can lead to creative baskets
- A long, athletic wing that plays with a high-motor
- Lorenzo plays well on both the offensive and defensive ends of the floor
145) Anthony Carter / 6’1 / point guard / Central Catholic High School
- A shifty point guard that is a leader in the backcourt
- He commands the offense for his team and shoots well from the three-point line
- Anthony causes havoc on defense with his strong fundamental defensive positioning during a contest
These “Newcomers” will not be forgotten moving forward after noticing their performances on the hardwood this year. We look to hear more from the young men added to our Pennsylvania rankings.
