Our Prep Hoops PA contributors collaborated together on developing the class of 2023 rankings, which have gone live this month. There are 300 players ranked throughout the state of Pennsylvania. We work hard at creating exposure for the many high school basketball players deserving of an opportunity to play at the next level. Let’s take an in-depth look at the "stock risers" of this large group of student-athletes that have climbed the rankings due to their performance on the court this high school and AAU season.


#6) Horace Simmons Horace Simmons 6'6" | SF LaSalle CHS | 2022 State PA , (moved up 62 spots)

6’6 power forward, LaSalle College High School - This high-flyer plays above the rim and looks to get out on the break ending with thunderous slam dunks. He has the desire to rebound on both ends of the floor and protects the rim. Also, offensively his ability to slash from the wing and score, while consistently making mid-range jumpers cause problems for the defense. Horace moved up a significant amount of spots due to his excellent play this season.
