Several players are making their first appearances in the rankings. In this article, we take a look at the new additions to the list.
Ariel Clark Ariel Clark 6'5" | PF Liberty | 2022 State NV 6’5 PF Liberty #94 – Clark runs with the LV Shooters, so that’s where I’ve gotten to see him most. Glue guy that provides second-chance points and interior defense for his team.
Romero Williams-Showers Romero Williams-Showers 6'10" | C Trintiy | 2022 State NV 6’10 C Bonanza #89 – RWS is on the list based in large part to my faith in Legendary coach Greg Lockridge, who has had a history of developing talent. Showers is raw, but he has size. I saw him play in spot minutes last summer for Trinity and watched him recently at Pangos. If Lockridge can continue his history of development, then the Swedish big man could be a potential stockriser.
Bryon Owskowski Bryon Owskowski 6'4" | C Basic | 2022 State NV 6’3 PF Basic #82 (featured image) – Ossowski is a product of All Vegas. He’s a long, lean forward that provides hard-nosed defense as well as interior scoring.
Jaylin Philips Jaylin Philips 5'10" | SG Desert Oasis | 2022 State NV 5’10 SG Desert Oasis #95 – Another product of the All Vegas AAU program, the jitterbug scoring guard is a driver and penetrator.
RIcky Carns RIcky Carns 6'0" | PG Green Valley | 2022 State NV 6’0 PG Green Valley #90 – I’ve gotten the chance to see quite a bit of Carns, as he plays on our Hustle Region Circuit. He’s a solid floor general, that defends and protects the basketball.
Emmanuel Jefferies Emmanuel Jefferies 6'3" | SF Pinecrest Sloan Canyon | 2023 State NV 6’2 SF Pinecrest Sloan Canyon #98 – Jeffries is a small school talent, that deserves some love. I’ve watched him scrap and claw for the Miners over the last year. The forward is a high-energy guy that helps his team on the backboard.
Tyler Shipp Tyler Shipp 6'5" | SF Foothill | 2022 ID 6’5 SF Foothill #30 – Shipp could be considered a new addition and a stockriser. Got to see him recently at the High Academic camp, and was instantly impressed. Long versatile playmaker that has a chance to play himself into a scholarship.
Nick Middlebrooks Nick Middlebrooks 6'2" | SG Faith Lutheran | 2022 State NV 6’2 SG Faith Lutheran #68 – I wished I would have gotten to see more of Middlebrooks at last week’s Territorial Classic. The shooting guard has some wiggle and scoring ability. Look for him to be one of the top players for Faith Lutheran this season.
