Julian Phillips Julian Phillips 6'8" | SF Link Academy | 2022 #19 Nation MO – Blythewood HS – Upward Stars SE 3SSB Southeast 2022
Phillips was great this weekend for the Upward Stars SE 3SSB squad. Phillips finished above the rim on several occasions today with his play. Phillips is extremely skilled out on the wing with his great size. Julian can really create his own shot at any time and is a great passer to boot. Phillips was constantly on the glass on both ends of the floor and finishing everything possible in transition.
Jazian Gortman Jazian Gortman 6'2" | PG Keenan | 2022 SC – Keenan HS – PCH Nightrydas SC
Gortman has a solid handle to get by defenders at ease at times. Gortman excels in the transition game with his burst of speed to the basket and finishing with a electrifying dunk it seems like many times in a day. Gortman has the ability to score the ball in many ways while on the floor and really likes to push the ball in the open court.
Jordyn Surratt Jordyn Surratt 6'6" | SF Dorman | 2022 State SC – Dorman HS – Upward Stars SE 3SSB Southeast 2022
Surratt looks like he has grown a bit since the start of this past season. Surratt was able to slash to the basket today and finish at the rim. Surratt plays the game very aggressively from the win position and rebounds the ball well on both ends of the floor. Jordyn was able to get downhill all day long and defend multiple positions on the floor.
Julian Kiett Julian Kiett 6'3" | CG Irmo | 2022 State SC – Irmo HS – PCH Nightrydas SC (pictured on front)
“Juice” plays the game with so much energy and grit while never taking a play off it seems. Keitt is the ultimate competitor with his play on the floor and his determination to defend. Keitt was able to get the ball into the paint a lot today and finish at the cup. Keitt and Gortman form a great 1-2 punch for the PCH Nightrydas SC squad.
Khalil Marshall Khalil Marshall 6'1" | PG Lake Norman Christian | 2022 State NC – Westminster Catawba (Rock Hill) – Team Eat
Marshall looks to be headed to the Palmetto State this coming season after playing at Word of God (Raleigh, NC) last year. Marshall a Wilmington, NC native is extremely quick with the ball in his hands and has the ability to finish on contact. Khalil really can touch the paint every time he gets the ball in his hands. Marshall was able to set up several of his teammates today with his play.
