used his speed to score in transition against Oconee County. He’s a high IQ guard that looks for others before seeking his own offense. Brown got shifty downhill and converted some tough layups. He hit a pretty step-back jumper that was a highlight on the day.

at a PrepCircuit event last year. He’s grown since I last saw him, now standing closer to 6-foot-6 with a long frame. Kelly alters shots and is athletic when chasing down rebounds. He has a soft touch on his hook shot. Kelly holds value as a defender, capable of guarding 3-5.

– Social Circle
There will be plenty of three-point shots to go around in Social Circle’s high-octane perimeter-based offense. Branch orchestrates everything. He’s a compact guard with a good handle. Branch can score 20 a night, but is comfortable facilitating as well. He drilled 4 threes in a win over George Walton Academy and grabbed 5 rebounds.
2022 6-2 W Cam Gaither – Social Circle
I like the versatility Cam Gaither brings to Social Circle. He’s a good defender that often draws opponents’ top players. He plays bigger than he is, using a good motor and some length to make plays. Gaither likes to crash the glass and can use his athleticism to earn deflections. The lefty is a streaky shooter that mainly profiles as a slasher and garbage guy.
2022 5-10 PG Kennedy Johnson – George Walton Academy
One of the most impressive outings of the day belonged to Kennedy Johnson. He’s a vocal leader on the floor that communicates well with his teammates. Offensively, Johnson can really shoot the ball. He’s tough off the dribble and dangerous from deep. He canned 5 threes vs. Social Circle.
