Alphabetically, here are the players that looked the best at shooting the rock from the 2023 Class.
Anthony Mahowald |6-3 G| MN Comets Gagner/Sartell – A patient shooter but a good one. His shot looks the same every time he shoots. Anthony has the potential to be a great 3-point shooter.
Baiden Bean |6-0 G| WOTN Bertsch/Farmington – A cold-blooded shooter from triple-land. Bean has a quick and soft release. He is a big-time shooter.
Carson Klein Carson Klein 6'0" | SG North Branch | 2023 MN |6-1 G| Northstar Titans/North Branch – A very serious shooter from beyond the 3-point line. Carson has a smooth stroke from downtown.
Jacob Anderson |6-0 G| MN Bounce/Maple Grove – He plays with great flow and he never gets sped up. Anderson does not force his shot. When he does let it fly, it is usually true and to the mark.
Kaden Pieper Kaden Pieper 6'3" | SG Belgrade Brooten Elrosa | 2023 State MN |6-3 G| West Central Wildcats/BBE – He looked great on Saturday. Kaden can hit the triple from all different angles. He was deadly from the corner. Pieper is solid shooter with good feet and hands.
Kyle Kallenbach Kyle Kallenbach 6'0" | CG Orono | 2023 State MN |5-10 G| MN Comets Elite/Orono – He has an excellent mid-range jumper game. His shooter form is rock-solid. Kyle can drill it from deep or pull up on a dime.
Landyn Nelson |6-2 G| Northstar Titans Stone/Andover – He spots up well and moves perfectly without the ball. Nelson is a catch-and-shoot 3-point threat. He can also hit the triples off the bounce. If he is left alone, he will put in the basket.
Lucas Jacobson |5-11 G| Minnesota Heat Lewis/Andover – A very cool customer. Lucas has a feathery touch when shooting the ball. He is a smooth player with a quick shot. Jacobson does not need much room to get his shot off. He is a smart guard that knows how to get open for 3’s.
Nathan Fenske Nathan Fenske 6'2" | SG Lakeview | 2023 State MN |6-2 G| SW Minnesota Stars/Lakeview – A strong guard with a smooth stroke. Fenske is an athletic player with a soft touch from three-point land.
Raoul Vaidya Raoul Vaidya 6'0" | PG Maple Grove | 2023 State MN |5-11 G| MN Bounce/Maple Grove – He has great form and excellent feet. Vaidya does the work before he gets the ball. He can get his shot off quickly with consistency.
Tyler Kahl |6-0 G| MN Crossfire/Mounds View – A sniper from 3-point land. This left-handed shooter can consistently cash in from beyond the arc.
