Alex Benassi Alex Benassi 6'2" | PG Lee's Summit | 2022 State MO 6’2 Lee’s Summit: The 2022 combo guard was lighting it up in the two games that I watched him on Saturday. He normally plays the point guard role, but he play off the ball on this day and he showed how creative he can be as a offensive threat. He was hitting 3-pointers coming off screens, working himself open on cuts while making plays off the dribble. He has a little flash to his game while still being very efficient. He received an offer from Missouri S&T on Monday.
Kayden Fish Kayden Fish 6'7" | PF Staley | 2023 State #181 Nation MO 6’6 Staley: On a team full of guards, the Big Fish was the main main inside and the 2023 was a force around the basket. The 2023 has a good combination of physical strength and athleticism to battle bigger post players. He has good footwork and has the ability to finish inside with jump hooks, drop steps and dunks in traffic.

5’10 Westminster: I watched Casen at the Rib City Shootout in Dexter a few days earlier and his usually accurate 3-point shooting was off the mark. Little worries though as the stroke returned on Saturday at Francis Howell Central as he was hitting 3-pointers off the catch and creating his own shot off the dribble. He plays so well on the move with or without the ball because he can dribble, pass and shoot it with a good flow.

5’9 Hazelwood Central: The 2022 pass-first point guard took a much more assertive approach on Saturday as he looked to score, but still did it by staying under control. He used his quickness to get into the lane and was able to get some buckets in tight spaces. He also has a dependable stroke from 3-point range. It was refreshing to see him cut loose a little bit and show his ability to score.

6’3 DeSmet: A solid 2023 wing player had a very productive day as he shot the ball well from 3-point range. He shoots it off the catch well and he can knock down transition triples. He has built up his body, which enables him to attack the basket and finish in the lane every effectively. He’s a coach’s son, so he knows how to play the game.

6’3 Chaminade: A 2023 wing player who is a good hustling player with solid perimeter skills. He can shoot the ball from 3-point range and he can rebound the basketball well from the guard position.
