Brian Taylor Brian Taylor 6'4" | PG DeSmet | 2022 State MO 6’4 DeSmet: The talented point guard was easily one of the top two or three prospects in the camp. He controlled games with his scoring, passing and defense. He has developed into a gifted playmaker who can drop dimes and knock down perimeter jumpers. He has also developed that knack of when to take over things offensively when the situation calls for it.
Larry Abbey Larry Abbey 5'9" | PG University City | 2022 State MO 5’10 University City: The veteran point guard was most physical players in the event although he was far from being the tallest. He used his powerful body to his advantage to bully-ball opposing guards on his way to the basket, yet still have the skill set and creative handles to get to his spots. He was setting up teammates all weekend with his deft passing.
Trasesn White 6’1 Confluence: The quick guard is a wizard when it comes to dribble penetration and getting buckets in the lane and this past weekend was no exception. Regardless of who was guarding him, he was going to get to the basket with that quick first step and physical strength. He really operates well when the pace of the game is fast.
Quinn Scott Quinn Scott 6'2" | CG Jackson | 2022 State MO 6’1 Jackson: The SEMO guard was very impressive in a game against DeSmet in pool play when he scored more than 20 points. He was scoring from all three levels and he was especially on fire from 3-point range.
Ethan Chartrand Ethan Chartrand 6'2" | SG Webster Groves | 2022 State MO 6’2 Webster Groves: The athletic wing player has been putting in a lot of good work during the month of June with the Statesmen. He is a fearless player who will attack the basket against anybody at any size; and he finishes at a high rate. And he’s knocking down 3-pointers, which makes him more difficult to defend.
Adam Sausele Adam Sausele 6'2" | SG Vianney | 2022 State MO 6’3″ Vianney: A very solid shooting guard who with good size and an excellent stroke from 3-point range. He did an excellent job of moving without the basketball and making himself available. He also played a good all-around floor game as he rebounded and handled the ball effectively.
Corde’ Brown 6’0″ Capital City: I always enjoy watching this physical wing player because he plays much bigger than his actual size. He loves to attack the basket and score on strong takes to the rim or he will get himself to the free throw line. He was also stepping and and knocking down some 3-pointers, especially in the transition game.
