Pool C Players
Zaid Dajani Zaid Dajani 6'4" | CG Olathe Northwest | 2022 State KS , 6’4 SG, Olathe Northwest, 2022: A top 15 player in our 2022 class that has really blown up over the spring grassroots season and is coming off of averaging the second most points in the Sunflower League. Currently holds an offer from Washburn and has Mid Major interest. Can score the ball with ease in a variety of ways including an array of finishes and a lethal pull up jumper. Shot 46% from 3 in the spring.
Jinwoo Kim Jinwoo Kim 6'1" | PG Blue Valley Southwest | 2022 State KS , 6’3 Guard, Blue Valley Southwest, 2022: Another highly ranked 2022 guard in our class, Kim is a high level scorer who always remains aggressive and is not afraid to make players. Has good length on the perimeter and the ability to play both guard spots. His efficiency has improved over the spring as well. Athletic and can get going downhill getting to the rim.
Sebastian Hamm Sebastian Hamm 6'2" | PG Blue Valley Southwest | 2022 State KS , 6’1 Point Guard, Blue Valley Southwest, 2022: A steady hand in the back court from the point guard spot. Hits timely jump shots and can get going from behind the line off the catch or bounce. Solid frame and is strong with the ball. A nice all around point guard.
Cooper Schwieger Cooper Schwieger 6'3" | PF Blue Valley Southwest | 2022 State KS , 6’9 Forward, Blue Valley Southwest, 2022 (Pictured): Another solid junior for BVSW, the long and lenghty big man is a solid shot blocker, finisher off cuts and dump donws, and has a face up jump shot game to keep an eye on. Is a solid forward prospect with a ton of upside.
Jaron Briggs Jaron Briggs 6'4" | CG Piper | 2022 State KS Jr, 6’4 Wing, Piper, 2022: An athletic guard/wing hybrid who has had a terrific spring and June session so far. A ton of upside especially with a solid outside game getting more and more consistent. Really tough and willing rebounder, can run the lanes, handle the ball against pressure, and hit contested shots.
Jace Linenberger Jace Linenberger 6'7" | C Hays | 2022 State KS , 6’6 Forward, Hays, 2022: An absolute double double machine. Great footwork, balance, and strength on both ends of the floor, finishes at an efficient clip, and can play out of the mid post with a nice variety of moves. Big time prospect in the class and someone to keep eyes on as the summer progresses.
Wesley Oakley, 6’3 Guard, Hays, 2022: Showed this spring that he is capable of filling in a much bigger role at Hays this season. A terrific catch and shoot player who is a willing rebounder and is physical on the defensive end of the floor. Can fill in multiple positions, guard multiple spots on the floor, and hit open threes.
Pool D Players
Will Gavin Will Gavin 6'1" | CG St. Thomas Aquinas | 2022 State KS , 6’1 Guard, Aquinas, 2022: The dynamic guard makes his return this weekend at the KAMO. Will be fun to see himself work back into game shape and show off his ability with the ball in the back court. Good handle, hits contested shots, creates space off the dribble, and can guard on the defensive end. Great story to follow here with his return from injury,
Will Rost Will Rost 6'3" | SG Aquinas | 2023 State KS , 6’4 Wing, Aquinas, 2023: The other Will that will be making a huge impact for Aquinas this year. The Guard/Wing is one of the best shooters in all of Kansas and his shot mixed with his length make it really hard hard to contest. Really good rebounder and distributer of the ball as well.
David Corbin, 5’9 Point Guard, Desoto, 2024: Was a fun point guard I saw last weekend that is new on my radar. Is really quick with and without the ball, plays extremely hard on the defensive end, and knocked down some impressive shots after creating separation off the dribble. Mixed in a floater or two as well.
Jack Wilson Jack Wilson 6'6" | C Manhattan | 2023 State KS , 6’6 Forward, Manhattan, 2023: The long and multi faceted Wilson will look to be a big presence for the Indians this season with key departures and the late transfer out of Cameron Carr. Wilson has a beautiful jump shot especially in the mid range and has extended it out to the 3 point line. Plays well off screen in roll and can rebound the ball effectively.
